Haha wow

The Knicks are probably going to score at least 70 before half-time

Just for reference, the Sixers earlier in the season beat New Orleans 77-62. Let's see where the Knicks fall in that spectrum at half time.

Looked like he didn't get it off in time, but even though the backboard had lit up, the clock on the ribbon board still said 0.01

Bobcats can't even surpass their win total last year anymore. You think they would've done that two weeks ago after a good start. It was like the basketball gods saying, "Uh uh uh, not so fast."

LOL @ Barkley saying "BS" on the air. Might as well say "FU" next time.

And as it turns out, it's (thankfully) only a sprain. Doubtful to return tonight, though:

'Antoni couldn't even look Woodson in the eye as he shook hands in a microsecond. Class a-hole all the way. Failed coach getting exactly what he deserves

We'll see what happens when 2 of our starting five come back. Until then enjoy it, but at least we're not a laughingstock on the level of a Phoenix or Sacramento.

Really? You have Kobe Bryan, Dwight Howard, World Peace, and you are claiming you aren't on the level of a Phoenix or Sacramento? You are expected to win games with those guys. Phoenix's team is a group of bench players for the most part. Not even close to the level of talent on the Lakers, but you are only 1 game above us after 1/4 of the season. Give me a ****in break.

When the Lakers don't have Nash and Gasol how talented are they? For starters Howard hasn't been himself all season after coming off back surgery. And then they have Chris Duhon running the show at point, coupled with a horrible coach who hasn't had a good season since leaving Phoenix. Record could be a lot worse, but no, the Lakers aren't as bad as your awful team nor will they be for the whole season.

Lakers went 11-19 in 02-03 with a team that had Shaq and Kobe and turned it around, not going to freak out yet. When the whole team is together they can be properly judged, and that'll be soon.

Nor should you, they just have to get into the playoffs. Once there Kobe can carry the team on his back solo for at least one round. Lakers are always dangerous but I don't see them beating a San Antonio or Miami

You still have more talent than the Suns do right now, so what is your point?

Point was the Lakers losing is probably the only enjoyment you're going to get out of the season so have fun while it lasts.

I can see them beating San Antonio as the Lakers match up decently when both are at full strength, but I cannot see them beating OKC or Miami. Best case scenario would be drawing the opposite side of the playoff bracket as the Thunder, finishing 6th or 7th to avoid them is fine by me. Then things can play out however they will. Gotta shed D'Antoni first though unless things drastically improve with Pau and Nash back.

The Lakers aren't healthy. But they're also not playing with any chemistry,

Nash should fix that, but you have to wonder about the rest of the Conference. I figure they'll need at least 47 wins to make the playoffs.

They basically need to go 38-21 the rest of the way beginning tomorrow.

They're 23 games in, and they only have two "quality wins" -- Brooklyn and at Dallas.

@ Tina Cervacio: Woodson calls Carmelo's injury a "slight sprain... Day to day" says he "fell pretty hard." #Knicks
