No he won't. He'll prove to be a good starter though. And don't bother with the "you need to watch him play" card. I live in Vancouver. I've watched him plenty, and he's an inferior goalie to Kipper (as much as it pains me to compliment a Flame), and Luongo (despite what's fashionable to think these days)

Edit: and even without one of those two, he still wouldn't be on the team thanks to Backstrom

Actually, I simply forgot Spezza. Post is fixed to include.

If someone wants to build me a case as to why Hudler, Wideman, etc. specifically are invalid selections, feel free.

Man, I'd love to see a divisional tournament in the NHL. Not sure how, why or when it would happen but it would be awesome.

Could you imagine all of us in the Atlantic coming together to root for the same team? And it not being the Olympics?

I think I want to see this happen just to see what Islanders, Rangers, Devils, Flyers & Penguins unity looks like.

I did them pretty fast honestly. Looking back at it Stuart wasn't the best choice.

Sedin - Sedin - Burrows
Hall - RNH - Eberle
Parise - Koivu - Iginla
Landeskog - Kesler - O'Reilly

Edler - Suter
Hamhuis - Bouwmeester
Spurgeon - Johnson

Kiprusoff
Luongo
Varlamov

Heatley/Tanguay would also be good picks.

EDIT: Giordano's better than Bouwemeester. And I forgot Bieksa.

Lehtonen isn't getting any love for Pacific. I'm not saying put him above Quick, but Smith and Hiller above Lehtonen? I don't think so.

Zajac and Stepan over Crosby? I mean, I know people can hate on him, but to consider him 5th or worse center in the Atlantic is a bit of a stretch.

Just remember this the next time "HF's most underrated" topic comes up, and people say Loui Eriksson isn't underrated anymore.

Teams who score more goals than the opposition win the games.

Not including Kessel is laughable, at best.

Exactly, you nailed that part. Congrats.

However, Kessel is a worse two-way player than all 4 RWs I picked. AINEC.

I'd say Pavelski deserves to be in the talks of severely underrated players, as you guys didn't even mention him.
FTR, I put Eriksson and Lehtnonen in my line-up.

It's not hate. If you notice I have Grabovski in there, and he's the Leaf I hate the most.

There's a reason why the Leafs are so bad. And no it's not just the 4th line and the coaching. It starts at the top with Lupul and Kessel. Sure they're flashy and will put up the points... but they give up so many goals. What's the point of scoring all those goals if you'll just give them right back to the other team?

But by all means, continue praising them and treating as Gods, the rest of the division will keep laughing at you.

Alfredsson, Cole, Pominville and Seguin all have a more positive impact an the game overall. Therefore I would rather have them over Kessel.
