So true though! kind of a joke that the campus is far from dry and the Athletic department feels that it is holding some sort of moral high ground by not having it at games(this might be a NCAA rule but I'm still blaming it on the Athletic department) oh there's a pizza shop that serves beer and a bar literally 100 feet away from the stadium?! who are you stopping?!

I cant believe parking is an issue either. Madison is expensive anyways, I doubt a family of four is gonna shell out fifty bucks for tickets and then gasp at fifteen dollar parking.

dont know if anyone saw this but this is kinda pushed me off the fence on the coaching issue.
This is just insulting to my intelligence. The recession? Seriously? The recession started in what, December 2007? They averaged 13,455 in the 07-08 season. When the economy really crashed in late 2008 they averaged 13,785, the next year 15,048 and a National Championship appearance. Then 13,226 the year after the championship appearance and then down to 11,773 and now under 10,000.

The fact is that the Badgers have made the Tournament only 2 times in the last 6 seasons and it's looking very likely that it will be 2 of 7. That isn't good enough and it never will be. Don't give me some ******** about the recession when attendance was basically the same or higher than it was before the recession until the last couple of years of watching crap hockey.

... and there's free parking with a bit of a walk.

Also the no beer is an NCAA rule.

If the Badgers don't beat Alabama-Huntsville twice they should just quit.

Wisco wins tonight 5-0 and get their first win at the Kohl Center this year
2 goals a piece for Mersch and Kerdiles and 1 for Sean Little

Good game for the Badgers against a weak opponent. I thought that Blake's two brothers were the only good players for Huntsville. They need some supporting cast to be effective on the ice. The goalie wasn't bad. Huntsville was outshot 27-7 through most of the second period. You can't win like that Chargers!

Ever since Kerdiles has come back from his suspension the badgers haven't lost (just haven't won many ). You chose the right guy to bank your reputation

The program was not suppose to exist this year. They were cancelled and then saved later. Obviously a lot of players transfered thinking there wouldn't be a team.

Badgers down 1-0 after 1 period. UAH gets a 5 on 3 goal at the end of the period

Frankly kind of clear that the Badgers aren't taking this game seriously. They are playing with little energy and trying way too hard to stick handle and make home run passes through the entire Alabama team. A few guys look ready to go home for Christmas break.

As for Alabama. They play as hard as anyone but man are they pretty bad. I think my school club team could have beat them.

They just need 3 or 4 quality players to join the program. Having a conference should help their recruiting efforts. I hope they get in the WCHA. Maybe some more southern schools will start playing college hockey if UAH keeps playing.

It's clear this is a team of D-1 hockey rejects. Like I said, the program nearly folded so what they have is just what they could scrape together last minute. #22 had some good moves last night though.

I found it troubling to really cheer against this team as I really hope they succeed for the same reasons you listed.

Makes you wonder what Wisconsin's record would be this season if Ian Pulver wasn't so stupid.

Wisconsin runs their unbeaten streak to 7 games (4-0-3). Wisconsin has not lost since Nic Kerdiles returned from his 10 game NCAA suspension

No doubt this had a huge impact on the badgers and the fact that Wisconsin got Zengerle back at the same time.

Wish we would have won more than 1-0 on saturday but the sweep feels good

It's nice that they're unbeaten since Kerdiles returned but the only good team they played was Denver. Michigan Tech, UAH and UAA aren't exactly stellar competition.

True, but they were also getting beat by Colorado College, Northern Michigan and Minnesota Duluth before hand.

Two OT wins in Mankato amazingly two points behind a bunch of teams (maybe, I haven't checked updated standings) for the WCHA lead.

Apparently Ramage had an amazing OT winner with 6.2 seconds left tonight.

Hopefully the Wisconsin athletics youtube channel posts highlights like they did for last night's game. Great weekend for Wisconsin! Lets keep it going!

Someone asked the guy who does the gameday blog on uwbadgers.com if he was going to post the video and he said he was hoping to on the bus ride back.
