Yeah... I get a lot of points when I play 2v2 with my friend because I'm used to playing with computers. I need to get used to playing with more than one human teammate.

When it was you, me and Joider we'd be quite good, AND score goals. Ahh, those were the days.

Socrates infuriated me. His method of philosophy was the equivalent of a two-year-old asking "why?" after everything everyone says.

Studying?

Me too.

Migration, Mobility, Borders, and Citizenship. Have to memorize the theoretical inquiries into diaspora, refugees/asylum seekers, securitization of borders, and the circulation of high skilled labour.

The thing I like about Uni over High School is that in High School, Christmas break was like the calm before the storm. You got summatives assigned to you but you obviously never did them, leaving a 2 week nightmare period finishing summatives and studying for exams.

That's amplified by 20 in University with the amount of work and studying, but at the same time it finishes before Christmas, meaning the next weeks are pure relaxation and bliss.

You're forgetting the other obvious benefits of university, which include greatly reduced class time, freedom from supervision, and a 4 month long summer.

Not to mention classes you're interested in, never-ending parties, great people, and free internet (not really free)

Nothing is really ever free.

For example, my last exam featured a student from the SFUO passing out candy as we walked in.

Oh, free candy, what a nice gesture, you might think. But, think for a moment. Aha! The woman is being paid by the SFUO to hand out SFUO-purchased candy. Who pays for the SFUO's budget? In part, the students. Alas, the candy comes from the collective pot to which I have contributed. It is therefore at my personal expense that I was offered this candy.

What's wrong with the world - well for one any idiot or psychopath can go into a store and buy a semi-automatic rifle without needing any sort of prerequisite courses or evaluations.

And this is coming from a gun owner - thank god in Canada we don't have shootings like this. It's scary - like when columbine happened it was y'know some kids who got bullied came back and did something insane - there was a motive there, albeit a ridiculous one. In this case you had a 20 year old go shoot up a school full of elementary kids... like I cannot fathom why this would happen.

I'll come over and give you some free candy

But only if you pay for my flight, taxi, and the overweight bag fee from over 40 pounds of candy
