Horrible tragedy, for sure. Waiting to hear more details...what kind of person do you have to be to shoot up an elementary school? Christ.

Apparently one (there may be another shooter) of the shooters was a father with a kid in the school.

That's just awful. It takes a certain kind of monster to shoot a bunch of little kids..

NO Gun debate in this thread

Keep it focused on news coming in from this tragic event ,, There are gun discussion threads on politics board if you feel need to debate it

I remember how big Columbine in 1999 was, and this just surpasses it in so many ways.

Thoughts and Prayers to all families involved.

I can't understand how or why people ever think doing things like this is possible.

So he probably didn't have a kid there, am I right to assume? What then, could be the link? I just hope this idiot wasn't wearing a Bane mask or some other silly nonsense that totally distracts from the tragedy of the situation.

Yeah like how Colombine was Marylin Manson's fault because the kids listened to his music.

Holy ****. What kind of sick wacko would go and shoot a bunch of innocent children? R.I.P. to the victims and thoughts and prayers to their families.

This is worse than Columbine!

Don't release the shooters name. Don't make him famous. That may be the only deterrent out there. A small one, admittedly, but every bit helps.
