My team Sweden:

Forwards:

Sedin-Sedin -Franzén
Zetterberg-Bäckström-Eriksson
Landeskog-Steen-Alfredsson
Stålberg-Johansson-Hörnqvist
Hagelin or perhaps Samuelsson or Påhlsson

I feel that Franzén would do real good for the Sedin sisters. The second line will be able to score but also play solid defence against all comers. The third line will be a mainly defensive one looking to play 0-0 or at best 1-0 against other teams top talents. The fourth one is a grinder one out to once in while get on the ice to punish guys like Crosby and Malkin.

Defence:

Karlsson-Hedman
Kronwall-Edler
Ekman-Larsson-Larsson
Enstrom

I predict Hedman is a beast by february 2014 and will do real well with Karlsson. Our second pairing wont be very fun to go up against, wether it's in our zone or when the transition occurs. Quite possibly Ekman-Larsson could end up in a bigger role if he keeps progressing, but for now he and Adam Larsson will be a formidable third pairing. As you all can see our D as a whole is MASSIVE.

Goalies:

Lundqvist
Enroth
Markstrom

The way that reads, your 3rd dline is 3 guys, 2 names Larsson

Thats a pretty solid few lines and will do some damage, Should be tough to score on.

Yeah, they certainly almost take up three peoples lenght on the ice. When it comes to the forwards, in a perfect world we could put Zetterberg on the third line and then have Steen as our fourth center instead of Johansson, but that really only should happen if Landeskog have become a 35-goal scorer by then and Hagelin also have progressed well to get into the lineup as our third LW. We'll see, at least our team makeup is rather preferrable than what the finns have to work with.

In a perfect world, like this:

Sedin-Sedin -Franzén
Landeskog-Bäckström-Eriksson
Hagelin-Zetterberg-Alfredsson
Stålberg-Steen-Hörnqvist
Johansson or perhaps Samuelsson or Påhlsson

It should be said though that we have a guy called Martin Thörnberg in the KHL who is a avid forechecker, a very good goal scorer and also happens to be a LW. Quite possibly he could fill the role that Hagelin has above on the large ice in Sochi.

I hope you're not serious...I can see one of Hall or Eberle making it, don't see RNH there yet. He might but I don't see it. He'll be invited though for sure.
Schultz I highly doubt he'll even be invited to the camp.

Fresh and new faces is always important. 2006 has made that clear. Doughty made the team as a youngster, if Shultz is truly impressive, never say never.

You don't need fresh faces if you are Team Finland.

That's an interesting top 6. 3 playmakers on the first line and 3 finishers on the second.

Giroux with Crosby is the equivalent of Huberdeau and RNH at the World Juniors.... I believe they could just wreck everyone.... that is if they settle their beef
