Lombard looked much more comfortable in there. No idea what Palhares was doing in there, he looked dreadful.

He was totally over matched. That's the Hector I know and loved for a long time.

Those punches were so crisp, powerful and precise. Small windows to get in there.

Everyone wants to kick Bisping's ass
Bisping's probably in line for a title shot if he beats Belfort so Lombard might have to wait awhile.

Absolutely, much better fight from him this time around. Exciting for the division. I am a Toquinho fan as well but he did not look prepared for that fight.

Paul Harris needs to work on his game. He can destroy low level MW but against the upper tier he just is lacking in the striking department to compete.

I like Paul Harris, but I wouldn't call myself a fan. He's fun to watch though.

I don't know how you keep circling towards your opponent's power hand. That should have been first on the list of things to not do.

No clue. And then to stall on the ground when the ground is your only place to win? Mental game is always an issue with Palhares.

When Hector legitimately dislikes you, it's scary.

That fight pumped me up... Lombard has to let his hands go all the time like that

Exactly. He had him where he wanted and just cuddled him.

He normally does. He's been tentative in the Boestch and first two rounds of the Vitale fight, but other than that he's been crazy Shango

Fletcher's reach advantage ended up being a complete non factor in this fight. Parke had Fletcher mounted and had his back a couple of times but he couldn't do anything with it. Parke should easily win though.

I was amazed at how as big as Palhares is, Lombard was very clearly the bigger of the two. He is just massive. Good to see him win in impressive fashion as it injects some life into the division. He might not necessarily deserve it, but I'd love to see him fight the Bisping/Belfort winner. If not that perhaps he could welcome Rockhold to the UFC.
