This list is debatable very much so however Bob Mckenzie even said something similar a few months back.
But, but... he's a professional scout! Whose opinions would you trust more than a guy who does it for a living? What are this so called McKenzie character's scouting credentials?
You and me both. We've needed a prospect like Rielly for a long time.
Agreed. He seems like a legit blue chip prospect.

PPG with his usual game changing speed will suffice for me.
don't we all wish that after that kessel stupid backlash everyone seems to rub in our face? I know I want him to learn his best he can but somewhere I want that too lol.

I've always thought we had a better chance of that high of a pick if we played a season Would be over the moon if we can get a #1 center prospect at this up coming draft.

We were a playoff team for 3/4 of last season until an unprecedented collapse. Theres a better chance we finish just outside of a playoff spot then in the top 5 again IMO (if we played a full season).

I should've mentioned I'm apart of the Bettman rigging conspiracy theory
I think the odds of each possibility would have been around the same (if I remember right the odds of us getting a top 5 pick isn't all that high assuming same method as last time).
Craig Button's list of top 30 NHL affiliated prospects. Ranks Rielly 1st overall in 2012 draft prospects (one ahead of Yakupov) and 4th overall. I've never been so hyped for the World Juniors!
You lost me at Craig button.
If the guy knew anything about player potential he might have held onto St.Louis, Savard and Giguere.

I'd agree that he's a bit off on his projections (ex. don't agree at all with his criticism on Grigorenko) but he`s still a pro scout and has more experience scouting talent then any of us. It`s just nice to finally see a Leafs prospect getting this much respect leading up to the World Juniors, even if it`s coming from the opinion of Button.
Atleast Bob does research. I would put much more stock in something Bob did than any thing Button did.
Bob polls scouts. Button flies around the world and actually watches the kids play. Both provide great input, but somehow claiming Bob's opinion is any more valid than Button's isn't right.
Button watches the players and posts his opinions on them. It's that simple. There is nothing reduces about his "stock".

You couldn't prove Button is a capable judge of hockey talent if you had 1000 lawyers and 1000 years to make a case.
I would much rather have Bob's poll of scouts than Button's solo oppinion.

Actually...
When Bob tells you something, its usually the opinion of multiple scouts, where Button's opinion is just his own. Personally, i would take Bob's word over Button's any day of the week.
