James Neal will make team Canada. He should make the roster but if he doesn't there will be injuries.

Schultz I highly doubt he'll even be invited to the camp.
I really think Eberle will make the team and Hall will be given some consideration. He'll be great on the big ice. I doubt RNH will though, will still be pretty young and Canadas depth at center is ridiculous.

Schultz... No chance.

None of those players made my team. I won't get into the debate as to why.
You have Sharp on the first line? Hall? Seguin? Lucic? No Giroux originally? Do you think these guys are going to beat out guys who are still young and in prime form who were on the 2010 Gold winning team?

I definitely don't want Hall or Lucic on that big ice. We need speed.

Guys who can skate and hit and score while still getting back to play D. Mike Richards and Patrice Bergeron are two names that come to mind that were important parts of 2010 team and there's really no reason for them to be left off.

Id swap Tavares and Toews to be honest. Other than that, that should be me cheering along for another Canada gold!

Spezza's one of my favourite players in the league, but again, where does he fit on the team? Is he a better playmaker than John Tavares? Is he better at faceoffs than Bergeron? Is he a better on defense than Toews? Probably not (although his faceoffs skills are very underrated).

By the way, Patrice Bergeron definitely struggled last time around. Although to be fair, I'm sure he was still finding his game after that terrible concussion.

Dan Girardi and Brent Seabrook are terrific NHL dmen. However having them on the ice in Sochi might be a mistake, I'd prefer to go with Subban or some other potentially emerging all-round extremely mobile type dman who might also have recent WHC or WJC big ice experience by that time (in my opinion this will be a healthy Tyler Myers judging by how he looks at his best...he's a true no1 dman but just has chemistry issues).

Stamkos-Crosby-Perry
Eberle-Tavares-Giroux
Richards-Toews-Nash <-this line would be VERY hard to play against
Benn-Staal-Iginla
Hall

Pietrangelo-Weber
Keith-Doughty
Letang-Subban
Hamhuis

Price
Ward
Luongo

I think Iginla has a chance to make the team, he will be far and above the oldest player but i think his leadership would be very useful despite not being a 50 goal guy anymore. I still see him as a 30 goal guy.

Would love for him to be the Captain although with Crosby on the team it would be hard to not give it to him.

Bergeron was not a big part of the 2010 team. He was Canada's worst forward and played pretty poorly IMO.

I think that team would probably be gold worthy, Hall has wheels he'd be great on international ice.

No way the Nuge makes it.

I dont think he will be large enough at that time, i could see him getting dominated pretty easily against the worlds best players.

Plus you dont really need a small playmaker as a 17th forward.

We'll see how the next two years go, as an Oilers fan I'd love to see all three kids on the team. It's not likely but there is still a chance.

Hall would be the fastest player on the entire team
