That was the weirdest connection I've ever had for a game.

It wasn't laggy, in the sense of skipping frames, but it was really slow to respond to any command, from passing, to switching men, to hitting/poke-checking, to face-offs, to shooting.

Weird.

I mean, I'm not great at face-offs by any stretch, but losing 17 of 18, with Richards and Brodziak?

Well, Lundquist redeemed himself for the effort to get a point.

short side wrist shot from the faceoff circle must be a glitch, my goalie virtually never saves it. Very annoying

Yeah, and I really don't tend to have issues with anyone, and I don't recall having any problem during our first game.

Like I said, just weird. I think on the first fourteen faceoffs, my guy didn't even move. It was only late in the 3rd and overtime, when I started hitting the button about a half-second earlier than usual, that I won two.

EDI: But I didn't mean to imply that that was somehow the reason you won. You were all over me. It made it more difficult, particularly losing every draw in the defensive zone over the first 50 minutes, but I was lucky to escape with a point.

In any case, desperately need Nash and Richards back. I'm really thin at forward.

EDIT: Apparently getting checked in the shoulder = lacerated arm = 44 games for Callahan? Great.

Screening is over-done in the game, I think. It isn't just that the goalie won't react, they almost move of the way. They do the opposite of what they should do--play positionally sound, and make themselves "big"--instead, they get as small as possible, and start looking around the opposite direction of the play.

Sorry, I didn't post it to call you out, just that it was an insane save.

For the record, Toronto had a couple shots of this nature in the first, but after that I didn't see a single "Stockey" attempt. No need to lynch the guy for it.

Also the advance is tonight? MIN is not going to be happeh.

good wrist shots from the circles or between hash marks do go in frequently, but they should, that's been discussed. don't give up good shots that would likely go in in real life.

on another note, I couldn't even beat Calgary's CPU (granted I had my backup, Emery, in net). at least I got 1 point! lost in a shootout. bad block for me

NYI, you around bro?

I believe NYI said he was gonna be away yesterday and today as well, so if the advance is tonight can we play his CPU? We'll need to temp kick him though, his CPU is not enabled.

Uggghhh I should have beat NYR. I dominated the game (except for OT he owned that) and when it came to the shootout I used my go-to move (best in the league I think, it gets everyone every single time, think something similar to that insane Patrick Kane shootout goal against MIN last season) but I took to long to shoot and Plekanec shot it at the side of the net.

Crosby vs. my 2nd line of M. Zucarello (75) | D. Stepan (82) | C. Thomas (69)

You know you are in trouble when Kyle Brodziak is your 4th best offensive forward...

EDIT: Something really weird happened with that attempt. You ended up shooting it from behind the goal-line near the corner, while my goalie ended up down on the other side of the crease? I think they were literally 10 feet apart when you shot.

You mean the move people do online where they go fast, then slow down and deke side to side till the goaltender fakes hard enough?

You always see it when you do online shootout.
