I love watching AHL games just to see the terrible graphics and promotions they come up with.

Tie game again.

Please, let's not refer to Gallagher as Gally.

Maybe Galla?

I truly have the feeling the Bulldogs should have a player that can clear the air,so to speak.Lake Erie Monsters have a need for RW's and the Bulldogs on LW each team having a surplus of the other's need.I would suggest trading Zach Stortini for Patrick Bordeleau each play on the 4th lines for their teams and considered tough guys. Bordeleau actually is and Stortini isn't but both are big players that stand up for teammates. On a rookie laden team it's probably better to have a player of that ilk that wins more often than loses and Lake Erie being a veteran team can use a player with NHL experience like Stortini has had with Edmonton.Just a thought

Something you've never heard before, Stortini does something that results in a power play for the other team, and they score.

just barely caught Blunden's 2nd goal tonight. What a beauty! Pretty decent hands. He looks really good out there.

Never understood the dislike for him. Tons of hustle. Loves to hit. I'd love for him to take it up a notch with the Dogs and maybe win a spot with the big club.

We say that every year, and then injuries happen.

Either way, our bottom-6 is:

Eller, Gomez, Prust, Moen, White, Nokelainen, Armstrong ... not that full. I see 7 names, of which only 3 (Eller, Prust, Moen) are definitely in the Habs long-term plans.

Pretty impressed with Avtsin's english. Sounds like he's a bit of a gym rat.

Good interview with Derek Wills.

edit: He's a vegan. Explains everything. Get this guy some steak.

Did they talk about when he comes back or why he has been a healthy scratch (besides this time with his kid)?

Not too many hockey related questions. They talked a bit about what he needs to do to be successful, he just said he needs to work on putting everything together (consistent offensive and defensive play) and doing it all the time. Mostly talked off-ice work outs and some general life stuff.

Gomez takes Blunden's spot right now imo.

I, unfortunately missed most of the game. Looks like a good one. Seems like Stortini might be doing his job.

Oh yeah, Corbin is +3 with 1 assist... Just saying.

Did his assist come from banking a puck off a stanchion? Just saying.

Missed it. Either way,it's still a point.

Now he's stepping in to help his teammates out. However, our d is pretty tough.

Game isn't on TVA Sports.

Langevin praises Beaulieu for everything. Bournival is a future top 50 player in the league according to him and that fat guy that looks like Kaberle if he put on more weight.

The fact that Corbin is a defensive dman in the A (or at least suppose to play like one) and has been one of the better d for us. Go back 5 games and he was better (consistently) than Beaulieu.

He gets the short end of the stick unfortunately.

Not saying he's great, but people don't give him any respect it seems.

That's because he cannot handle the puck to save his live. And he's been passable defensively, IMO. He does get caught out of position sometimes, and when he does he's WAY out of position. There's a reason you could put together a highlight real of his diving poke checks.

Are those the ones of him missing, or saving Beaulieu's ass ?

The guy isn't great by any stretch.

You could put together a highlight reel of Beaulieu doing pirouettes because he has no idea where the puck is. Then, you could put one together of him making nice defensive plays.

I'm not really sure where Beaulieu comes into play in this argument. I didn't even mention him.

And if we're going that route, nobody needs to tell you that he wasn't drafted for his defensive game. I've seen him picking daisies more than once, that's for sure. But if you're paired with him, you better believe that your assignment is to cover up for his mistakes. I understand if you like Corbin because he's an underdog and has a good story. I don't hate him or anything, I just see no future for him with the habs (or even the dogs) long term.

Also, are you sure langevin is the one who praises Beaulieu? I've mostly heard the TVA guys rip him on every mistake, especially Pedneault.
