Great determination by Dumont to seal it into the EN!

Nice and fun win.

He's a good AHLer, but I've seen enough of Blunden to know that's all he is.

Leblanc was way better tonight than in the past few games. A lot more energy, dangerous on a lot of shift in the offensive zone. I'm looking forward to see how he improves untill the end of the year.

Also, very good game by Blunden. I really think he can make a decent-to-good 4th liner for next years.

Leblanc definitely deserved a goal tonight, I thought he had it on the wrap around late in the 3rd, but no dice.

The shots are a good sign, I remember Pacioretty starting his pro career with tons of shots before they started to go in regularly.

Another good sign is Gallagher's health. Throughout juniors and now in the AHL, he's been in the lineup consistently, despite his size and eagerness to play in tough areas. I don't know if this is a testament to his fitness, ability to play or pain or just dumb luck, but it's a very good thing.
I am really big on players that shoot a lot. Really big. I'm no NHL player, but for my whole playing days this was shown to be a good idea for me, and my team mates.

I is also clear that high scoring players in the NHL shoot more than others.

Very glad to hear the Galla is shooting a lot.

Blunden just needs to get lucky in the goal department and he could be a fixture on a team's bottom 6.

He has size, speed, will defend a teammate and throws hits consistently. He just isn't to score as often as you'd like from a bottom 6er.

Oh boy, someof you guys really need to cool down with Blunden here. He's not going to be anywhere near Montreal when the season starts.

5 on 5, I'd prefer Blunden over guys like Bourque, Gallagher or Leblanc for sure. Possibly Colby Armstrong too.

Really? He's a 4th liner at best.

Did he get to play on a decent line last night?

I do like him as a 4th liner, but he's really nothing more than that imo. Even with injuries, you don't want him in your top-9 unlike the guys you listed who are capable players on 2nd-3rd lines.

The lines were often mixed but most of the time it was with Quailer and Chaput or Bournival and Fortier.

He was awesome in EHM2007, I kid you not. He was a reliable 30+ goal scoring powerforward on my top6 for years

That because it was based on his potential which was huge at that time.

But he's a NHL caliber 4th liner. Guys like Leblanc and Gallagher would just hurt the Habs at this stage of their development. Leblanc was half-decent last year, but he also brings nothing to the table at the NHL level. Blunden isn't a great player either, but he won't hurt the team defensively, is pretty good on the forecheck and would not look out of place against a big physical team. Gallagher and Leblanc are more of an emergency call-up when more talented players are injured.

Dogs losing 2-1. However, Corbin scored. Unassisted or the ahl site hasn't updated it yet.

I can't help but see him as a bit of a reclamation project. He was a projected top 6er when drafted. Seriously doubt that happens but if he can continue to play the way he did yesterday than I think he could peak at a 3rd liner. The only thing is he's unlikely to do it with us.

Is there highlights from yesterday's game? His 2nd goal was a beauty.

Big day for the defence.

Both Tinordi and Corbin have both scored their first pro goals.

Also Bournival is playing great. He's playing a ton of confidence right now.

Doesn't appear so.

Apparently Tinordi's goal was taken away and given to Dumont
