Vince McMahon apparently wants Wade Barrett to have less gimmicks that conflict with his fight club-inspired persona. According to a source, Vince recently ranted about the flower briefly returning to Barrett's wardrobe and was asking what it had to do with his character.Vince isn't angry with Barrett, but believes that he needs to focus on one thing and stick to it or else he risks looking too cartoonish. In recent months Barrett has gone from wearing jeans and being a bare knuckle fighter, then wearing the robe, then having the rose and then adding the anchor to his tights.A lot of wrestlers believe it's a case of creative giving bad direction to a wrestler on where to take their character.

And I'll be there.

I don't think I've ever been to Raw that I can remember, only Smackdown.

Sheamus on Conan was ridiculously annoying. God I hate Sheamus.

Wasn't the RAW after last year's TLC in Philly too? I remember Punk, Ryder, and Bryan having a 6-man tag match that night and them coming to the ring through the crowd in homage to ECW.

That was perfect, what wrestling is all about. All champions are all very good in-ring worker.

No Big show, no Ryback, no Santino, no Kelly kelly

Only for Rhodes, Bryan and Punk.

Ryder's boring and sucks.
Kofi & Bourne, almost forgot they were ever together. Bourne is gone since then? Almost?
Divas: Who gives a ****.

Kofi and Bourne are good in-ring competitors and worked well as a tag team. Beth was by far the best female wrestler (not diva) on the roster and Ryder was waaaaaaay over with the crowd, something you don't see very often now a days when it comes to mid-carders

all of those champions were well-deserved

Ryders moment at TLC was just remarkable. It was truly ridiculous to hear that pop and see real emotion for a US title match.

My only complaint was that it should have been a ladder match.

And he shouldn't he jobbed to Swagger on RAW three weeks later.

well, you should tell that to Vince. That was basically his way of telling Ryder not to get over by himself

Well, I just returned home from the house show...
You boys are in for a treat with the Shield. I did miss their entrance and music as I was destroying a Chicago dog at the Sonic concession but ran back to the seats when I heard Kane and Bryan's music.
Nice teamwork, more of a ground and pound style for all except Rollins who had some aerial stuff. Ambrose was my fav; even his facial expressions and gestures on the apron when he wasn't involved told a story. Even though it was the main event, it was far more interesting than the Cena/Ziggler streetfight which seemed dumbed down to me. Not many good spots but mostly kicks, punches, a chairshot and some brutality using a mic as a weapon.

It was comical hearing the college age crowd chanting Cena sucks as the 6 year olds screamed Lets go Cena. It was almost all moms and dads with kids under 10 cheering for Cena and wearing the green shirt. That's why it's PG. they went nuts for Cena. Huge pop too for Mysterio. They seemed bored with Kofi, Sheamus. Sheamus is strong; he hit white noise on Show but held him in an awkward position on his back for awhile. Ryback botched a move on Ambrose; slipped out of his arms so he went for something else. BTW, the feed me more might be piped in... Rey was cheered wildly while only a few "Feed me more" chants were heard. All the kids seemed more interested in Rey and Cena. I did see a couple Ryback shirts in the crowd but middle aged dudes were sporting them.

Edit: I just read my post. Sorry if everything seems to run together, I'm beat.

Thanks for the rundown Ax, glad you enjoyed it. Also pretty cool that you got a first look at the Shield before the ppv!

I feel like creative sets aside a few PPV's a year just to cater specifically to the smark crowd. Money in the Bank, Extreme Rules, and TLC for the last few years usually always make the IWC happy with maybe a few exceptions.

It's like Vince thinks 'maybe if I listen to what they say twice a year, they'll shut up'.

Thanks man! The Shield was the high water mark for most last night; on the arena's Facebook page, they asked the question "what was your favorite part of the show last night?" The overwhelming majority said the six man tag match rather than the Cena/Ziggler main event. I think we'll see a nice performance tonight from the Shield.

That could be; I was away from my seat and didn't rush back because the girl at the concession said there was intermission after the divas match. She lied I ran back after I heard Kane's music hit...

Supposedly this happened:

Quote:
In typical Shield fashion, the trio jumped Team Hell No before the match began and used the numbers game to their advantage. That is - until Ryback ran out and evened the odds.
