The defense allowed 7 points in the 1st half. The other 10 were a result of Eli.

So 7-0 instead of 17-0 changes the entire complexion of the game. That's my point.

And in your hypothetical, Giants losing only by 7, what guarantee do you have the Giants don't roll over for the Falcons on the first drive in the 3rd? What exactly have you seen from the secondary that made you deduce this still would have been a game from a defensive perspective?

Giants sucked on both sides of the ball. This right here is nothing more than debating who - either O or D - dropped a more lethal dookie on the field.

Nobody showed up today. Nobody. Not the players, not the coaches, not anybody. Nobody brought their brain to Atlanta.

Well, except Weatherford.

Giants will now be 2-4 in the 2nd half.

2-6 in 2006
4-4 in 2007
5-3 in 2008 (lost 3 of last 4)
3-5 in 2009
4-4 in 2010
3-5 in 2011

This is beyond frustrating. Beyond. If somebody ever asked my why Coughlin shouldnt be a HOF coach it's because of that BS.

The whole team sucked today, why are we arguing over who sucked the worst?

Only because I believe it unfair to put the blame on one player when everyone deserves it.

I wouldn't say everyone. The WRs were making catches when the ball actually got to them.

Fair, I generalized.

Eli was bad. The linemen were bad on both sides of the ball, more so the O-line. Tynes should have hit that 30 yarder, and perhaps the coaching staff goes back to him to kick instead of trying and failing on fourth down the rest of the game. I say that not in the sense I believe Coughlin lost faith in Tynes, but that if the Giants already had points on the board they may have been more inclined to continue kicking FGs and chipping away. Way too many shotgun draws, and they got away from what worked (Wilson to the outside, Lumpkin up the middle).

There's an awesome suggestion going on in the Giants forum: they'd be fine if the Giants released Tuck.

I honestly think that would be a brilliant idea.

The Giants D-line might be the most overrated thing that ever existed.

For all the talk about the linebackers and and secondary, the **** has the D-line done all year?

Released? No. We could get a pick back for him.

Hmm. Good point.

Maybe we could package him and Osi and get a 1st?

Three weeks in a row Tynes/Deossie/Weatherford have had issues. Maybe it's time for Deossie to go after this year.

Tuck and Osi are finished after this year, Osi because of money and Tuck...love the guy but he's obviously been banged up the last two years and can't perform consistently anymore. It's time for him to ride off into the sunset.

They need to start drafting linebackers, OLine men, and hopefully another new pass rusher project. Would be nice if Ojomo could become a factor.

I think Tuck's done. Injuries have caught to him. He's not made an impact for 2 years now.

Is he even injured? I think it's more mental than anything.

Deossie and Weatherford are fine. Tynes is just a terrible kicker.

We throw words like "terrible" and "awful" and whatnot around way too easily in this thread, myself included. Tynes isn't a "terrible" kicker. He doesn't have a monster leg like a Seabass or Akers but the guy has been big for us when it matters.

Giants chances for playoffs still look alot better then another choking pathetic team

Bears for 2nd straight year will miss playoffs. This years collapse is worse

Last year = 7-3 ,, Finish 8-8
This year = 7-1 ,, Finish ?
