So I was just at Sports Authority picking up some ponchos for the Giants game today, and I see a bunch of Dubinsky heritage jerseys on a rack that says $24.97 and under. I obviously thought it was too good to be true, but I brought it up to the register anyway. Of course, it rang up $98 or something around there, but they actually honored the $24.97 price. I was pretty shocked. The girl didn't even go to where they were to check either. Now my thought is to get it stripped and make it a Callahan.

I have a really good customizer who has stripped and re-done quite a few jerseys for me. They're based in Ontario but have extremely reasonable rates and are really personable and work with you when you get in touch with you, to make sure you get exactly what you want. For example if you have a jersey you want them to put an 85th anniversary patch on and it turns out (hypothetically) that the numbers we wore on our jerseys were slightly wider that season than they are now, they will ask you to include a picture of the player you're getting wearing the 85th anniversary patch and make sure to do the exact specifications. They charge me like $10 to strip and $30 to customize or something. I have their page bookmarked but never remember the URL. I'll try to remember to post it when I'm not on my phone.
Just an FYI, by the way, as I see a lot of you asking about and making a big deal about name bars on authentics... not all NHL teams use them and some teams, rather inexplicably, use them some years but not others. Including the Rangers (they currently are using them, or were as of last season's playoffs, as far as I know). If you're a real stickler for authenticity, you'll want to do some google image surfing for a clear picture of the player you're buying and the season you want the jersey to be accurate for (in the case of commemorative patches and things like that) to see if his team used a name bar that year.

Hold on to them, wait for the holidays to pass and this whole lockout thing to sort itself out and eventually icejerseys will have an awesome customization sale (they have a few every year) and that is when you should get it done. They do the best job in the industry and when they have their sales, it's the best value you'll get, making the jerseys a total steal, after what you paid on amazon for them.

kinda pissed, Ive been eyeing that Olympic Team Germany jersey on IceJerseys for a while and made the decision to buy it last night - to find out that they dont carry them anymore.
they had them in stock about a week ago.

No problem. You will definitely be happy with ice jerseys quality (literally, best I've ever seen and I collect jerseys) and their specials, when they run one, are great deals. Subscribe to their mailing list or something and you'll know when they run their next one.

If you live in the Bronx, Parkview Sports Center in Riverdale does an excellent job, make sure you request a nameplate if you want one, as they wont automatically use one. They charge per letter and number, so depending on who you are getting it could be fairly cheap.
But, I'm leaning towards this being a fake primarily because of the NYR shield. Thoughts?
Yeah that's a fake. Shield is a giveaway but there's also no holographic NHL tag with the other tags, bottom of the jersey isn't cut right, numbers and name are bubbly, etc.
Looks fake. Numbers, patch and crest all look fake. That or the owner washed it and they all warped, but it still has the tags. The interior of the collar doesn't look right either.

Actually, should have mentioned early, it's a home jersey, size L.
My two brothers (both huge Staal fans) also have two jerseys they're selling. They got it on NHL.com so they're the kind you would find there (not fully stitched). They were just average fans and both decided to quit on hockey after this lockout. Both are premier third jerseys (the dark blue ones), sizes L and M. They never wore them (obviously) and these still have tags.

site has the fake winter classic jerseys, clear sign it's not legit. maybe higher quality boots than the ones from the random chinese site but definitely not legit.

That's such a good deal from amazon. If I had a little bit more money freed up, I would buy one asap and hold onto it until ice jerseys runs a customization sale.
