Hackett imo is something that i could see play the Olympics for Canada some day. He has a great upside and has proven himself good enough to play NHL hockey at the age of early 20's..

I like Hackett a lot but I just thought of a question. Hackett was selected in the final year of the old scouting group, right? Seeing how well Fletcher (and his scouts) have done as far as selecting goalies in the later rounds of the draft, do you ever see Fletcher (and his current staff) picking a goalie in the 3rd round (or higher) again?

Your goaltending is only as good as the defense in front of you. And Houston's defense is not good. Their top defenders are Scandella and Bagnall.

Would really like to see Coyle start shooting the puck more. If the plan is to pair him koivu eventually, he'll want to start being a little more selfish with the puck.

watched those aeros highlights. really like what I am seeing from coyle, granlund, and zucker.

Coyle shooting more: yeah, I feel if he gets fed from Koivu or Parise he will have some good chances to pot a few goals. Is that line unrealistic in the future? Imagine how hard that would be to play against. Parise-Koivu-Coyle

Not too much. He's listed at 207-212, depending on where you look.

Matt Hackett has just one regulation loss in the past month. He also has a 1.93 GAA and .925 SV% in his past five games (3-1-1).

What I really like about Coyle ... a forward who wears one of the most traditional defenseman numbers out there.

I hope he has what it takes to be an NHL power forward.
