I'd prefer we stick to the set schedule. If we wait another day it throws off the schedule from here on

I need to play Calgary twice but apparently he's went M.I.A. and Edmonton once.

Really wish I could of got some more games in. However... agreed. There will be times we can't get our games in but it is important to maintain a set schedule and not get off track. Especially so early in the season

Yes we will stick to the schedule as best we can. It is early in the season right now so people are just getting used to playing games again in this league, many are students so have exams going on, and soon the holiday season will likely result in some people being away here and there. We are open to taking a break or slowing the sim schedule down during the holiday period, but I would suggest we continue through even if less games are played just to keep the schedule moving, it is still very early in the season, but we are open to feedback.

Advancing the schedule now so it will finish shortly.

I would suggest that people, who know they won't be able to complete their games in a schedule period, enable their CPU. Other, successful, leagues do this, so i don't know why we don't follow this rule.

Am I the only one who's not quite sure what you guys are talking about with the clappers?

I've played a few guys who can really only score off the slapshots and rebounds. It's only frustrating/boring to play against because they really have no other moves. Yes it makes it very easy to defend against but you can't cover them all. It's not really cheap at all, it's just kind of like.. "havin fun over there?" Doing the same thing over and over game after game? Well have att'er. But guys like that rarely beat me.

Haha I find that funny considering I scored 2 "clappers" in our game. One was a one-timer from the point that beat the goalie clean, the other was a slap shot flying down the wing that ended in a rebound goal. My next goal was a rebound goal off a wrister, and my next 2 were break away dekes.

Am I missing something here?? It's news to me that I overuse slap shots as I tend to fire more wristers than slappers generally. I always try for variety in my play and there's definitely those in this league that I've played multiple times that can back me up on that. I'm not mad in the slightest, you can have sour grapes all you want, just defending myself here.

Hmm, I got swept out of playoffs last season by minny and lost a game or two to him already this season. 0-6 overall I believe. However, I can't say I've noticed him doing the same things over and over. Always been clean games with me. But that's just me lol
