she just played a major part in Les Miserables - as Fantine. As for the dress... well I got nothing.

I'm not going to lie to you guys, I really want to see that movie.

And The Great Gatsby.

And Anna Karenina.

Somehow I turned into a literature lover somewhere over the years.

people at work forwarding me these ‘facebook’ images (not saying they are from facebook, but that’s what I call bull**** images containing meaningless messages that are almost always fake or false)…really pissing me off. the one that really pissed me off (I won’t re-post) was some fake message from one of the kids, written ‘right before he died’ or some such nonsense.

of course, if I were to say something like ‘keep this fake **** out of my inbox’ I would be called heartless, insensitive, etc. I truly hate what social media has done to this country/world. if I wanted to see this bull****, I’d sign up for facebook. upon reflecting further, it really seems borderline inappropriate to ‘forward’ this to me. I may take it up with HR after all

It's a giant metaphor. And I'm a sucker for the Gilded Age mansions and that 1920's era.

Holy ****, I'm going to have quite the credit card bill after this Christmas. Looks like I'm not going out for the next two months. Ah well, worth it though.

That being said,

Anyone ever use the fact that electricity is deregulated in NJ to change their supplier and lower their rates? Anyone have any recommendations on a supplier?

http://www.state.nj.us/bpu/commercial/shopping.html

List here has dozens for residential houses. Curious if anyone has any experiences with this. North American Power looks good but I'm not sure if they have cancellation fees, etc. Any insight is appreciated.

I feel incredibly terrible. Hardly been getting any sleep the last few nights. Woke up briefly to call my boss, and tell him I wasn't feeling well, and would be in late. Woke up at 2:30 in the afternoon, and went in at 3 for a few hours. I felt worse when I woke up. Like hungover, and a headache only it wasn't a hangover cause I don't drink.

Why would you lie about watching some actual movies that are not imbecile?

I watched Anna Karenina, it's OK but slightly annoying. The porn stache of Vronsky is weird, and it's not that understandable how Anna would destroy her life over THAT guy. It's also set as a theater piece, which disappointed me since I wanted a real epic à la Doctor Zjivago.

The trailer of Les Miserables looks amazing. I'm def. gonna go see that.

Usually, ya. Of course, these crazy ****ers are no stranger to scandal and hypocrisy already, so anything that comes out about them won't be at all damaging to their agenda.

Ya, seeing that nonsense in the Yahoo comments got me angry today. This has nothing to do with a lack of God or moral decline or whatever. This has to do with the easy availability of instruments of mass murder that didn't exist when the Second Amendment was written, and the lack of understanding and treatment for mental health issues.

Regardless of the number of times you hear this on TV in the coming days given this horrific tragedy was, it still wont be true.

Mass murder in the United States was at an all-time high almost 100 years ago, and it dropped since then, before increasing from the 1970 to 1990s, then dropping since the 1990s. In fact, guns are perhaps the only constant in the entire equation, always available, then and now, and we have more gun laws now.

Again, there are a number of criminologists who believe the mass murder key here is the glorification via media attention which they trace back to the mid to late 1960s..... Manson, Whitman, and on and on and on etc..

Hell, NOW they even write BOOKS about these ******** mass murderers and serial killers (Manson, "Green River Killer", Ted Bundy, "Son of Sam", Columbine ********, and on and on), and they get their own Biography Television specials. It must end.
