Stupid but you very well know player contract lengths are nearly meaningless in European football. Very few players ever remain with club for the life of contract.

He can't have any complaints. In a sport that has had high profile issues with homophobia, they aren't going to allow players to make any sort of homophobic remarks on social media.

I assume that they used the same criteria, a percentage of his wage, for the fine as they used when they fined Rio Ferdinand for retweeting the racist tweet.

So has the FA gotten around to handing out punishments to West Ham yet? For some reason I keep expecting to see something here but the FA must still be busy trying to punish teams from other countries.

Doumbia is the best player in CSKA I think, although don't know if Arsenal can afford him

Wouldn't risk it on Michu. Would cost around £10m but could easily turn out to be another Amr Zaki.
Huntelaar has signed a new two year extension to 2015. Would be too old by then in my opinion for Wenger.

No chance LFC are getting a fair shake this week. Webb appointed ref for the matchup

If I didn't expect it I'd be angry. There's no chance of us getting a single 50-50 decision.

That being said, I will accept a loss if Luis scores and then dives in front of Ferguson like in the derby with Moyes. Going to be a great game as we've found form and these games always are regardless.

I would like to see Evans, Scholes, and Giggs line up for United. Our problem is dealing with pace and power which is lacking in those three. All in all United are not a fast side, so if the referees fair, we could get something out of this just as we should have earlier in the season.

David Gill approves of this referee appointment.

Liverpool deserved something out of the first meeting and looked the better side before the crap call against Shelvey. Optimistic going into this match. Love it.

Other than Bernstein (who seems like a muppet) many of the FA's board is just yes men for SAF.

It really is that simple.

Looks like business as usual. Chelsea dominate the half, but go in 1-0 down. mindblowing

They are trying too hard. Some very nice football, but if you aren't going to finish those point blank chances, it's useless. How it's not 3 or 4-0 instead for Chelsea is beyond me. Watch how much praise Swansea get for "parking the bus".

Holy ****, Ba did a lot more in his 12 minutes or so of playing in this game than Torres did in his past 3 games.

And ****ing Ivanovic. Has all the physical tools to be a great defender, but really makes the stupidest plays ever.

You have one of the biggest threats in Ba waiting in the Swansea box and you're dicking around in the middle of the park playing Fifa Street for 90 minutes. Well, there you go. Complacent, as casual as it gets and chances a schoolboy could finish. But nooooo, it has to be with style. Give me a couple of goals advantage then you can play your tiki-taka BS. No, it's not over, but they haven't respected their opponents the last two games and lost to inferior teams. ****. Me.

Michu and Graham (the prolific goalscorer being pursued by the likes of QPR, Reading and Sunderland) get absolute gifts from dumb-dumb Ivanovic (great defender, no IQ).

Oh, and **** Torres.

Why do you support Chelsea if you're Belgian?

Swansea parked the bus and capitalised on there chances, Chelsea did not. Chelsea dominated possession but didn't create a boat load of good chances.
