Damn, I hate that Los Angeles took the name "Lakers" from us and the "North Stars" can't be used. Those two were awesome names that evokes Minnesota.

At least the Timberwolves have a solid name that's somewhat related to Minnesota. Twins is fantastic as well. Vikings is such a great name, even though it's not technically Minnesotan there are a lot of Scandinavians here. But Vikings are ****ing TERRIFYING.
Exactly. I like the logo and the use of negative space on its own. I hate the overly generic name that any city could use.

I hate trying to buy gifts for stupid Christmas present-swap games at extend family get togethers.

"Here, there's a tiny amount of money you'd be lucky to be able to find anything worthwhile. Now look for something someone may sort of want but will likely end up throwing away or collecting dust in a month."

So in that spirit, I bought a Shake Weight, arm sweat bands, and a water bottle. Meh. Finally done with everyone.

I buy lottery scratch off tickets. Put them in a box from the previous year. Wrap it. Throw a bunch of ugly ribbons on it.

Done.

That is brilliant.

I won't lie, I almost crapped myself when I got a PM from a fellow HF member regarding the 2013 WJC premiere.

Getting scolded by someone on the internet really has the power to make you poop yourself?

I said "almost", and I was obviously exaggerating.

You really don't have a sarcasm detector, do you?

Well if you've already gotten "scolded' twice, then yes.

Went to the doctor today for a chronic cough I've had.

Positives:
+ My lungs are "perfect"
+ My lung function is "off the charts"
+ Doctor is smokin' hot (since when do they get to wear mini skirts?)

Negatives:
- I'm fat
- I'm an inch shorter than I thought I was
- Don't really have any concrete ideas about the cough

They gave me an albuterol inhaler (again, doesn't really do anything for me) and some acid reflux pills. Maybe that will help. It would be nice not to hack and cough and get dizzy any time I get my heart going.

Pretty cool quiz. I got 106/122.

I completely forgot some memorable player but I got most scrub players.

You should do it when you can.

It takes 20 minutes. Well, you have 20 minutes to name Wild players who played from 2005/2006 - 2011/2012 seasons.
