As long as its not like the Dec. 26 blizzard we got 2 years ago...that sucked. Hungover at my aunts house and almost got stuck there because we didn't think the snow would accumulate so fast.

Good news there. And I feel for the sample takers. I used to HATE drawing babies' blood (though for BIL they should have just done heel-sticks, though that's annoying too).

The guy who hacked Scarlett Johansson's computer a couple of years ago and released those photos of Scarlett's Johanssons online got sentenced to 10 years in prison.

He might have done more than just released photos for all we know. Bank accounts? Attempted a bribe to not release the photos? Had OTHER photos? Lots and lots of possibilities.

Famous people are more important than you and I, thus they have special rules.

That was the highest profile case. He also "hacked' MANY other accounts...

But the bigger issue here is that he didn't "hack" them. He used the password reset tool and publicly available answers the questions they had set up. Did he commit a crime? Absolutely. Did the people 'let' it happen? Sure did.

Yup. It's a 'make an example' case. But it's really just as much fault of the account holders, IMHO.

I don't know that it is... This is a definitive area where 1) The law has not caught up to technology, 2) Judges, and likely a jury, don't completely understand the technology, and 3) he needs to be made an example of...
