I think the way it is now is fine for the first half of the season. Not everyone gets their games in, if you can't play they get simmed. You don't get automatic losses.
After the allstar break push it back to three day sims. The games are crucial down the home stretch in playoff races.
Playoffs: It's the playoffs. Try to be sure everyone gets their games in, if it needs to be simmed, so be it.
Offseason: I think it needs to be slowed down. Everyone is antsy to play games again but we really need to make sure everyone gets a shot to resign their guys.
I did good during that block, no idea what my record was though. I'm no longer in 2nd last and 10 games under .500. Now I just need to find a way to get back to .500, and win some more games. and **** both of you guys because I've beaten you both.
Is it possible to call a guy up and insert him in the lineup immediately? Seems like after you do a call up he doesn't show up in the edit lines screen until after you play one game.

It's a glitch in the game. After you call him up, exit the edit lines or roster moves screens. When you go back in, he'll be there.

You just have to exit roster moves screen and go back in; or you can scratch someone after making your call-up, try to exit, and when it tells you your lines are incomplete, press the manually fix option and your call-up should be there. Just another minor annoyance that happens with this mode.

If you scratch a player and try to exit it will ask if you want to fix rosters. Manually fix them and when you go back everyone should be there.
Down 3-0 against Vancouver, the Phoenix Coyotes are able to tie up the game in the third with goals by Dubinsky, Boedker, and Kostistyn to grab a lead leading 11th Overtime/Shootout loss for the season.
Thank you loser point.

Commissioner is tripping on NyQuil right now and may or may not be ok to play games. Every time I cough my ceiling turns a different color
In that case, play me!
I'm playing my worst hockey of the young season. Sounds like a fair fight.
EDIT: Missiaen sort of stole that--though Bernier made the greatest save I've ever seen from an EA goalie. I couldn't figure out how to save the highlight, unfortunately.
