Killorn and Connolly are competing for red hotness apparently. They're both on fire. Panik continues his point streak as well with one of the prettiest power play goals I've ever seen. All 5 players touched the puck within about 4-5seconds.

Awesome job by Conacher getting back at Morrow (who is no slouch) for the hit on Namestnikov.

By the end of the season I expect a lot more people taking notice to Panik and Killorn, thats for sure. Cooper with big compliments to Connolly. TJ gets his 16th after a small drought. Conacher steps to Morrow. Loving all this!!

With the Crunchs PP MIA for while there I was curious how they ranked in the AHL but could not find anything on theAHL.com. I then found this, Every stat you could possibly want to know about the AHL.

The Bolts are probably confident in their ability to select good, gritty forwards after picking Namestnikov, Richard, and Paquette. If the team is looking for more guys like that, here are some candidates, in random order.

Max Domi's family relations may play a part in if he's selected by TB or not, should he be available.

I reallly think he could be a steal be cause he didn't get any atention and could very well explod next year and he's already getting better as is points go up fast...
Well and I really fall in love with mirco Müller this season he isplaying so great in Everett. So hopefully SY takes him in the 2nd or 3rd round

Or, possibly bad move.
SFY's junior team was the Peterborough Petes.
It's not just Koekkoek, the captain of the team, reportedly requesting a trade, it's also Nick Ritchie and alternate capt. Alan Quine.

It's not the same as when Yzerman was there, there's been issues going on for a while there, even before the Puempul trade last year, goes back to Spooner as well.
Yup they have (apparently), T.Murphy did too a little while back.

Of course, it's just that allegience to a team itself can sometimes be a strong thing.

That's true, I wish he wouldn't leave the Petes, but whatever is going on there is clearly negative and i think it's best for him to get away from it.

SY cares about proper development, not having a kid playing for an awful team.

More on Koekkoek, him replying to the accusations of him not being a good captain as of late. Made me laugh more than anything:

Edit: Now apparently it looks like nobody has asked for a trade out.

I can't help but feel like he needs to get out of there, though. That team is awful.

It's not so much quitting, that team has been a complete mess for the past few years, even when they were decent their management has been awful and hasn't treated it's players right. There's no coincidence that Spooner, Pumpuel, etc, probably more that have been all traded in the past years. If they weren't they would've most certainly had a decent looking team.

Have to feel bad for a kid like Eric Cornel. But I agree, regardless of their record he should get out of there from a developmental standpoint.
