I think if he was still there around 15, you'd get a team like the Jets or Cowboys overpaying and trading up to get him. But man I'd love it if he was still there for us at 19.

I've totally done a 180 on the Bears. Now I hope the Giants, Cowboys, and Skins win. I don't want them to make the playoffs. I want the Bears to lose out and wind up with a pick around 13-15. Making the playoffs and getting bounced would be terrible.

1997 was a long time ago. Emery isn't going to take the job if he has 0 input as to who his coach is. They aren't going to bring Lovie back on the last year of his contract after missing the playoffs 5 of the last 6 seasons.
