Pretty wild finish in London tonight. Owen Sound tied the game up with 24 seconds left but then Seth Griffith scored his second of the game with only 4 seconds left in the 3rd period to give London their 19th straight win.

Griffith scored another couple clutch goals in a comeback victory yesterday. Scored one with eight minutes to pull the Knights within one, Rupert tied it up then Griffith scored the OT winner. Also scored in the shootout on Saturday after being held pointless in the game.

Knight had played under an assumed name Jahred (pronounced Gjjjar-read) Knightenov for the Tier II Siberia Huskies. Unfortunately due to weather getting stats out of there is difficult.

However, he is back in Providence and is my pick to be in the lineup before Jordan Caron scores another goal, or the NHLPA tell Bettman they are ready to get r done.

I think all 3 of these events are going to happen right around the days around Christmas,

Knight I'm going with that Friday following Christmas; the CBA that Thursday, and Caron not sure.....Caron, Colbourne, and Hamill all struggaling a bit but those second and third rounders are carrying this organization

I wonder why Seth Griffith isn't getting more buzz...the kid has been on beast mode for a couple of years now.

Not that it means a whole lot, but some statistical player rankings shows B's with a strong showing at the top of the O.

Based on today's special teams practice at U.S. camp, I suspect Matt Grzelcyk, who was paired with Seth Jones, will probably make the cut.

They've still got to cut a couple defensemen (won't be done until after the pre-tournament games, cuts will be the 22nd or 23rd) so Grzelcyk hasn't made it yet but practicing on the PP with Jones is a good sign.

Awsome, already circled the calendar on the 30th for the Canada/USA tilt, one of the games that is actually on at a humane hour

It's on at 4am et (I think 5am for you). Are you thinking of the game against Russia the next day at 8:30am?

I have not, but I've read enough from people I trust to know he's playing as well as his stats would suggest.

Pre-tournament games start in the morning, Canada vs. Finland at 9:30 eastern, Sweden vs. USA 12:30 eastern. Both games on TSN, American game for free on nhl.com in the US.

It's scary to watch guys like Subban, Murphy, Harrington looking so out of place against Finland. Russia will tear Canada apart.

I think we dodged a huge bullet by not being "forced" into taking Murphy in 2011. He's a guy that I don't even think Claude could get through to.

Wouldn't be worried about Harrington whatsoever. He's as reliable as they come.

I'm also not worried about Subban, but he definitely hasn't looked very good for Canada so far.

Hard to blame him for this game given 2 of the 3 were on 5 on 3's. Sounded like the 3rd goal wasn't great, but didn't sound like he had much help either.

He has been very mediocre since the start of camp and now in his 1st exhibition game. I wouldn't be surprised to be honest if he loses the spot and isn't the starter going forward
