So with Setoguchi getting himself suspended from Ontario for taking the holidays off, what would you offer for him in terms of a defenseman to Minnesota.
We are looking for a dman who can be a solid number 4, maybe a prospect who's projected as 2nd pairing and some picks.
give me your best shot
edited, he didn't do anything stupid, but still keep the offers comming

He didn't go anything wrong to get suspended. Although his reasons are pretty stupid being that other players aren't as fortunate to simply take the holidays off.

Devils could use Setoguchi, but aren't offering up much besides Tallinder. We don't have the forward prospects to spare, and our two best ones (Matteau and Boucher) aren't going anywhere. We can't really afford to give up a second or third either, because our prospect pool is shallow and we have to give up a first rounder one of the next two years.
What else would have to be added onto Tallinder to get Setoguchi?

NHL players in other leagues could leave whenever they want to go home. For ECHL, this is their job. This isn't Setoguchi's job. He willingly joined the ECHL, he can leave whenever he wants.
I think Seto would be a good starting point in a package deal to get a top 2 RH d-man to play alongside Suter. I really have no interest in trading Seto away already though, I wanna see what an in-shape Seto can do alongside Granlund.
Just checked his stats and thought he was between 25-30 goals, not 15-20. Maybe not, but a little adding would still make me think.
He was definitely a bit snake bitten last season, missing on a few surefire goals. He definitely should have been in the 25-30 range, but I completely see where you are coming from.
