Well he said he's going to think about it during the summer and summer's yet to begin here in Finland (weatherwise), so you're just going to have to wait a month or two.

Since this post has something to do with Tuomo's possible retirement, I'll post it here.

In a finnish ice hockey magazine there was a "99 questions interview" with Tuomo. Tuomo had the following to say about hockey right now... Note: These are not Tuomo's answers by the letter but rather short overview of Tuomo and his NHL career. He loves playing but would not think of a second choosing between money and health. He would choose health without doubt. He has thought about retirement during healing of serious injuries but said he enjoys really much playing and if he can play without pain, he'll play. He also says that he doesn't worry about the next serious injury. "If it comes, it comes" he says. He loves playing with the Blackhawks and wants to play for the rest of his career with the 'Hawks. "It just feels like my club" but wants to rest and think about future and any contract talks later.

I can see Tuomo pulling a Selanne. With the extra healing year due to the lock-out Selanne got fully healthy for the first time in a long time - may be just the trick for your guy.
