Btw Armia is about 200lbs. Barkov has potential to be stronger and bigger. Think Jagr, Ovechkin, Thornton, Sundin body wise.

He is ridiculously big, if Armia is indeed 192cm, then Barkov must be at least 195cm.

193 6'4" is the new measurements according to team site and IIHF entry list but i don't know truth about them.

The angle doesn't have anything to do with the size perception people.
Although he is huge whether he's 6'3'' or 6'5''.

Barkov and Armia are both way taller than TT, but we really can't say anything from that picture about Barkov vs. Armia. Watching Barkov play in the SM-liiga, my personal guess would be that he's 6'3", but 6'4" wouldn't shock me.

Sundin was 6' 3 1/2" and 187lbs in his draft year. Barkov is approaching Eric Lindros as far as manchild status goes.

I think Barkov is 6'3 / 190cm because he himself said so quite recently. This picture is just good example how unreliable these hockey measurements are. Nevertheless Barkov is huge kid.

3-4 months ago. It's normal that he still grows but this is all speculation. I think that combine tells the truth , he plays with very long hockey stick so huge reach will be huge advantage. The picture is more about his thick body compared to other 2.

Ok it is possible that he has grown then a bit in past months. But whether he is 6'3, 6'4 or 6'5 it doesen't matter. He is still a tall and big kid like you said. After few years he will be very very hard to defend when he protects the puck with that long reach and enormous body.

IIRC, Armia was 6'2.75'' at the draft combine, that's the only reliable measurement we have of him.

Barkov looks almost 2 inches bigger it that photo (which very well could be angle etc) but the point is he's taller. And by a noticeable amount.
And he doesn't just look taller, but much more filled out. Dude is a beast.

6'4 is the nearest truth.
Bu he is not "Lindros" or a "beast". Just a gentle giant.

Probably because he's lock for the team and they want to try different players in the line-up, as final cuts have yet to been made.

Barkov and Ristolainen won't play against Canada tonight. Reason is that they rest and give other players chance to play.

Looks like Barkov also has a little babyfat in him. Once he gets to fully train with weights...
