Thanks, Joey. Very nice goal. We're a little spoiled by Galchenyuk but I like that even our long shots are talented. Hopefully he can really work on his skating.

He has A LOT of work to do on his skating technique. A lot.

Does he ever. Course, to be fair, Gally's first step isn't a world beater. Even our best prospects should be working on their skating like fiends.

Is it doable?

It's always a possibility. I thought Lucic's skating technique would refrain him from being a NHL'er. He's still not agile...yet, who cares. I do have my doubts on the overall quality of Pribyl but time will tell. Thing is, while skating is indeed "workable", it's all about each and every person.

Has anybody watched Engqvist play in the KHL this year? I was wondering because he has 24 pts in 34 games with his team. He's such an intriguing player, I don't understand how a player that can produce pretty well in the KHL and the AHL (was performing at .71PPG last season with a decimated by injuries and not so talented Hamilton squad) can be so invisible at the NHL level and not stand out in any particular way.

He reminds me of Maxwell. Is good in "lower" tier leagues, but he just lacks the intensite and the extra gear to be successful in the nhl. He needs that push in his game.

He was given his chances though and I would hope they invite him at the camp next year. Playing on the big ice in Russia might help his skating, though he did play on a big ice in Sweden and that didn't seem to help him before coming to NA.

That's a good comparable in terms of NHL 'impact' that both players have had thus far in their career. The problem I have with Engqvist is that he was supposedly really good defensively compared to Maxwell who plays more of an offensive game. But with Montreal, that facet of his game was nowhere to be found. I don't know if it's because of that extra gear he doesn't have like you said that makes it him always one step behind the play but he's shown nothing, not even flashes of having any talent offensively in the NHL and he's played a decent amount of games (15 games).

I can see why Pribyl was picked and look forward to him joining the Bulldogs next season.

Just saw this on the OHL website: http://www.ontariohockeyleague.com/a...c-28-29/134678

You'll be able to catch Sarnia (without Galchenyuk) tonight at 7 ET and Brady Vail's Spitfires at 7 ET on Saturday for free.

If you want to watch some of the notable 2013 draft prospects play, you could watch Kingston (Kujawinski), Belleville (Jordan Subban), Guelph (Dickinson), Windsor (Rychel), Kitchener (Bailey), London (Domi, Zadorov, Horvat), and Sault Ste Marie (Nurse).

WHL is also running one here: http://whl.neulion.com/whl/

Saskatoon (Dietz and Thrower) will play against Prince Albert at 8 ET tonight and tomorrow. Bozon's Blazers will play against Vancouver at 10 ET on Saturday.

Windsor looks like crap and Vail has tough matchups so his +- gets a beating.

Well from a marketing standpoint, it makes sense. Hardly anyone is going to pay for those games while the WJC is on. So why not offer them for free as a taster and hopefully convert some people into wanting to pay for them when they get Galchenyuk and the rest of the league's stars back?

Considering the Habs will hold his rights until 2015 I think Engqvist putting up solid numbers in a lockout KHL is noteworthy. 26 pts in 35 games now.

Is Walsh injured or has Dartmouth not played in a real long time?
