I recall Volch joining the rush and scoring a goal vs Philly last season, I think on a pass from Kovy.
He did, and he also scored a goal against MAF when he wasn't even in the net. The guy scored 3 goals which is an above average for year for him. 1 was in the playoffs. Does this really mean he has anymore offense than Colin White or Dano?

He did and we were all like:
"Shoot it, Kovy!"
"Goddammit, why y u no shoot?!"
"Wait, he has a trailer joining the rush!"
"Is it Henrique?"
"..."
"What the **** did just happen?"
*fireworks and laughs*
I have seen 2 Anton Volchenkov goals in person. The troll goal against the Pens where everyone surrounded Kovy and left volch completely open in front of the empty net and his goal in game 1 of the Finals.
Again the AHL's website sucks tonight, and the radio broadcast isn't working at all. This is why I don't pay for this ****. This sites been a joke the last week.
Score another please! This team is a joke in the shootout, and would be in like 6th place if they won 3 of those 6, or even 2 of the 6 they'd be in 8th right now.
I don't know why they play for the shootout. It's like the NHL Devils last year. They would break down in the 3rd, and blow the lead. Tighten up in OT, but not attack, and play for the shootout. This Albany team doesn't necessarily blow the leads in the 3rd, but man do they play for the shootout. Haven't even had a game decided by win or loss in OT yet.
Let's be serious. The shootout's getting ridiculous cause you know it's a guaranteed loss. All it does for this team pretty much is accumulate loser points, and keep their shootout losses at about even with their regulation losses. I'm more than fine with the regulation loss cause all they really lost was a point. The shootout is embarrassing for this team.
Solid reliable fourth liner who protects the puck well and can actually contribute. I believe he was signed to an AHL deal. He's a nice fourth liner for Albany, nothing special, but he gets the job done and he can fight too if needed.
Would be good if he could hold that pace in the NHL.
Yup. As I keep saying we need more scoring from our defense. Especially with Zidlicky likely leaving this Summer. I think Larsson can bring some scoring. He may be no Neidermayer, but any contributions offensively would be great.
Not bad production at all. I'm talking about his defensive development mostly though. He isn't going to learn how to handle high speed and high skill NHL forwards playing in the AHL.
