Sedin, fairly easy. Then it gets trickier.

Nash, Sharp, Parise and Elias all make a good case.

I completely understand the logic to pick Sedin over Elias since he had a 104 pts season with plenty of awards 2 years ago, that's fair. But Parise over Elias ? I don't think so. Parise is 8 years younger than Elias, I get it but that shouldn't make Parise automatically better than Elias just because of that. Yes Elias is 36, but he had arguably a career year last season. Constancy should be rewarded.

The fact that Elias might be a great center can't be overlooked too. Versatility is priceless. Truth is, Elias is playing center position since 2 years now. Get a look at his stats last year, and the man was the backbone of the Devils shutdown line.

No flamewar, no argument intended and I'm sick to look like an Elias fanboy, which I'm really not. It's mainly that someone had to say this.

I'm sure GFS will add him if you ask. And since we're only three players in, no harm done.

Because Parise's last three healthy seasons: 94, 82, 69 points / 45, 38, 31 goals. Last season I'd take Elias, but his offensive production has been a little up and down since 2007. Another year where Elias outperforms Parise could change my mind though.

And I should say Patrik Elias is one of my favourite players.

Yup, if you guys have someone in mind, I can add him to the poll too as long as he is a left wing.

Just curious, but how many of these guys do you have before Daniel? I know you don't particularly care for the Sedins.

What do you mean? What use is an Art Ross winning forward if he can't produce in the playoffs?

Spoil:

Parise's past 3 playoffs: .86 ppg, .8 ppg, .625 ppg
Daniel's past 3 playoffs: 1.17 ppg, .8 ppg, 1 ppg

A) Parise wasnt the same player coming back from knee surgery
B) Elias plays superior D
C) Parise is going to the much more defensive, Western Conference
