I highly recommend CK2. It's a pretty easy game to get into (it's the simplest of Paradox's historical simulators, about as easy to learn as Europa Universalis III and significantly easier than Victoria II).

I found it a little more difficult than Europa but that game is worth buying just for the Game of Thrones mod .

You only need 4 out of 6

even Steam is catering to the casual

So much for that Valve tweet about something epic coming, it's ****ing nothing

No achievements, no treasure hunting, jack ****ing ****

I'm pissed

Last year had the gifts with coal and games in them right? I think last year's summer sale was tickets you could use towards DLC and a couple free games. The achievements actually made me more likely to buy games, less money for Valve if they don't want to do something fun like that again.

It's a shame War-Z still isn't up or I'd buy it to gift to you for the achievement. Looks like I'll have to settle for Secret of the Magic Crystals!

Speaking of, you don't actually have to buy someone a gift

You can just buy something as a gift, put it into your Steam Inventory and activate it on your account

But i'm just saying, i totally want secret of the magic crystals

Have you tried the Game of Thrones mod for CK2? I got the game the other day mainly for the mod. Haven't had time to set it up yet.
