I renember Douville interviewing Nesta who said that he's talking about the MLS to his friends in Italy and that the salaries are very good here. I said to mysel there is no way Nesta is being actually paid only 250k if he finds the salaries to be good here. He could easily make a lot more in europe.
I remember that interview too. I don't think his salary is that low; his "cap hit" is that low because I think they used allocation money to lower it. I think his salary is probably double that and I'm sure he's getting some sponsorship somewhere.
In the MLS, you can never tell how allocation money is used or how much of it exists. It's a mystery!

Who is their 3rd DP? I thought neither Juninho nor Luyindula were one.
Nesta's low cap hit will certainly come in question.
Doesn't mean IMFC did something wrong, Even if he bring lots of players he is not part of the team.
As for the salary of the players like in any sports with a salary cap clubs are creative and are exploiting the grey areas its to be expected.
The rules are there and you need to make to best of them without breaking them.
But doing financial fraud and stealing money is not at all the same as trying to make the cap hit of a player lower by getting him publicity contract, put a part of is salary as a player/coach or something like that.
Lets not jump to conclusion like in the Di Vaio Case where there was nothing but false unfounded assumptions.

Yeah would be nice to improve the club since lots of other contenders are active.
But there is still time. If they could get a coach it would help too.
Vancouver improved a lot between their first and second season to work on some of their important missing pieces. As of now we still have lots of room to improved.

what do you mean by transfer window?
It's the off-season. They can sign any player they want any time.
Well if we want a DP from Europe, we'll probably have to wait for the January transfer window.

There isnt much dp in north america i guess.. unless they are already in the mls... i wont lie, i expect a player close if not better from Di Vaio level..
