So the danish "mafia" are doing very well at the moment.
Just a big surprise that Frans Nielsen is so low scoring, but when Bødker scores so much it's enough to assist him or Philip Larsen. But after a slump Jannik Hansen seem to be producing now. Lars Eller doing great as well. Hope they can all continue.

A friend of mine who loves Lukko, says that Nielsen is not scoring, becuse his Defensive duties are quite big.. and that he is relied on allot in that aspect.. also winning F/O.

We all know that Frans Nielsen is absolutely awesome defensively, but he usually produces more goals in the other end even with a lot of PK time and defensive responsibilities. I mean his scoring % is 1,6 at the moment, while Bødker's is 20,6%
(But as the Islanders say: A flute with no holes is not a flute. A Dane with no holes is Frans Nielsen.)
In NHL last year Frans Nielsen's scoring % was 12,8 (so 1,6% is pretty abysmal), but he certainly counters that with all his assists.
Bødkers 20,6% is second best in SM-liiga (for those who have played more than 5 matches). Lennart Petrell of HIFK has 21,6%

I guess you are right
To go back on the earlier topic of Jannik, it does look like he got two goals
Will it be a danish offday?....1st period ended and both Lukko and Tappara are down 1-0
2'nd period and still no danish points. Lukko down 3-0 now, but Tappara has turned it around to a 2-1 lead.
Frans Nielsen scored (Bødker assist) and assisted within 2 min, but it ended with a 2-4 loss.
Tappara loses 3-2 in overtime on a goal 3 seconds from shootout.
Oh well "the tree's don't grow into the sky" (DK: "træerne vokser ikke ind i himlen") -> after some great successes it was bound to change. But at least Frans Nielsen doubled his scoring.
Another less productive danish night - though 3 points is still ok.
JYP and Lars Eller lost 1-2 to KalPa (Eller got 1 assist).
Jannik Hansen and Tappara beat Lukko and the danish trio with 3-2.
Jannik Hansen with 1 assist and Frans Nielsen with 1 goal.
So it seems Frans Nielsen has started scoring, but still defeat for Lukko.
I think he's on the verge of breaking through in NHL, continuing on he's tremendous playoff performance.
Yeah it just seemed he needed a good center to play with. A very defensive responsible Frans Nielsen throwing good passes seemed to have made him flourish offensively.
Lars Eller did make us wait long tonight. Goal after 1. min. He is really in shape this season. Probably a big factor that his preseason with non-disturbed by injury like the last one.
Quiet danish day. All three dane-teams won, with 1 assist for Lars Eller and 1 assist for Philip Larsen and Mikkel Bødker.
All danish with a + statistics:
Philip Larsen, Mikkel Bødker, Frans Nielsen with (+1,0)
Lars Eller with (+1,0)
Jannik Hansen (+2,-1)
Hardt hopefully returns before Xmas or right after it.
Yep beside helping Jokerit, Denmark really need him for the olympic qualification, especially if the lockout ends. Without the NHL'ers "everything" will hang on Nichlas Hardt and Morten Madsen from MODO (not even sure if Nicklas Jensen will play since he could be called to NHL). They are the only real top quality players we have available outside NHL and AHL.
Edit: By the way a goal from Jannik Hansen tonight and Nieminen secured a 2-1 win in the shootout. So the dane-teams (excluding Jokerit without hardt on the roster) are really into a winning streak.
Places 8-12 in the SM-liiga are extremely tight at the moment, so Lukko have to continue fighting hard, if they want to join the other dane-teams that are more "secure" in the top.
First Lukko-danes:
Mikkel Bødker 14G 9A in 23 games, +12 statistics
Frans Nielsen 3G 15A in 21 games, +9 statistics.
Philip Larsen 5G 7A in 21 games, +9 statistics.
Simon Nielsen 8 games GAA 3,16 Saves: 0,883%
So still the 3 NHL'ers are doing great offensively, but also and especially on defence. Simon Nielsen is a bit below last years form and Petri Vehanen is still clear number one in goal.
JYP:
Lars Eller 5G 8A in 9 games, +3 statistcs. An excellent start.
Tappara:
Jannik Hansen 5G 7A in 14 games, +4 statistics. A bit uneven in his production.
Jokerit:
Nichlas Hardt still out with his second injury. 1G 1A in 5 games, -3 statistics. He didn't even have time to shed his rust, before he got injured again.
Hardt makes a return today in Jokerit's farm team K-Vantaa in Mestis. Good way to get some game touch.
Be interesting to see how he is doing.....hope his knee can hold out the rest of the season. Because of the injury he is not playing for Denmark in the Euro Hockey Challenge in Lyon at the moment.
Nichlas Hardt is back for Jokerit.
LW for the 1'st line in matches against Lukko and Blues. Result 2-0 and 4-0. No points for Hardt, but he certainly returned to Jokerit at a time where it goes pretty well for the team.
Basically every Danish player in Sm-Liiga has answered the expectations well. Most of them could easily be EHT-players if they represented Finland. Maybe 1-2 could even be in a WC-team?
