Who will win this years Big Eazy award??

Which player will prove to be a man amongst lil boys like a young Eric Lindros was in the early 90's? Who will prove to simply be better physically then anyone else skating around the Russian rinks?

I feel the Eric Lindros award this year will go to Alex Galchenyuk as I feel he will simply take over games with his sweet feeds, unbelievable dangles and his 'big boy' shot.

What say you?

RNH, easy answer but I feel he is 500% more talented, polished and absolutely fitting of being a man amongst boys in this tourney...and I'm not an RNH fan

Just for the record, the nickname was "The Big E". Unless you're talking about New Orleans, of course.

Armia, been playing in a mens league for 3 years, and looked like a man amongst boys in the exhibition against Canada.

This tournament has nobody close to the dominance that Eric Lindros had when you combine the size, strength, skill and point production. Eric Lindros was an incredibly rare specimen for this age group, perhaps even one of a kind.

It'll be between Armia, RNH, and Forsberg/Yakupov imo.

I know Reilly had a bad game yesterday but I really believe he will be the best player in the tournament.

Barkov has the body for this. Maybe not that kind of mean streak willingness like Lindros, but he is a hard competitor. It's just crazy that I'm talking this about a 17-year-old, but that's how it is.

Dont think he'll dominate yet this year...

... after all, he's just a boy amongst men

Armia should be the best player in this tournament. If he bothers to play 100%, that is. RNH is ofc the other option but he is more a playmaker than goalscorer. So, it's hands down Armia.

Speaking of Barkov - well, he is big and strong kid but hes not on Armia's level skillwise. He doesn't have the same gamebreaking ability.

Well said.

There will very likely never be another player with Lindros' package of size, skill, and power.

Certainly nobody in this years tournament.
