Ya, its reDQless. He seems to pick up an assist on everything.

I'm cool with people switching as long as it doesn't become a game of musical chairs. But I'm sticking with Dallas; the owner and I are tight and I've got the Murray name keeping me locked in well past my expiry date.

And God damn is the Western conference tight!

Seed / Team / Games / Points

3rd - Chicago - 76 - 88
4th - Anaheim - 77 - 92
5th - St Louis - 77 - 88
6th - L.A. - 76 - 87
7th - Nashville - 77 - 87
8th - Colorado - 75 - 85
9th - Dallas - 75 - 83
10th - Vancouver - 77 - 83
11th - Calgary - 78 - 81

Good thing I didn't end up trading my first as I could very well be in the 10th to 11th spot in the conference
Not looking good for calgary, everyone ahead of me had at least a game in hand.

Buffalo decided they didn't want to draft 2nd overall. A 9th place finish behind Benny sounds more fun right?

After a meeting with ownership we have decided the best direction for this team is a full rebuild. No more just patching the holes and hope for the best.

Regarding the rebuild the following players are available:

G - Jimmy Howard - 84 - Starting Goalie - 32 years old - 5.5M, signed through 16-17.
G - Leland Irving - 82 - Backup Goalie - 28 years old - 2M, signed through 16-17.
D - Andy Greene - 80 - Top 6 DEF - 33 years old - 3.6M, signed through 16-17
D - Mark Giordano - 86 - Top 4 DEF - 32 years old - UFA(I will be resigning)
D - Mark Fistric - 79 - Top 6 DEF - 29 years old - 2.8M, signed through 16-17
D - Theo Peckham - 82 - Top DEF - 28 years old - 4.5M, signed through 16-17
RW - Jarome Iginla - 84 - 2nd Line - 38 - UFA
RW - Dustin Brown - 83 - 2nd Line - 31 - 5.5M, through 16-17
RW - David Jones - 76 - 4th Line - 31 - UFA
RW - Michael Grabner - 85 - 1st Line - 28 - 7M, through 18-19
LW - Wojtek Wolski - 80 - 3rd Line SCR - 30 - 2.66M, 16-17
LW - Jesse Joensuu - 83 - 2nd Line - 28 - 4.5M, 16-17
C - Travis Zajac - 84 - 2nd Line - 30 - 5.4M, 16-17
C - Patrik Berglund - 84 - 1st Line - 27 - 5.9M, UFA

If you are interested in a player not listed here I am willing to talk but probably not interested. Send me any offer you have I am sure we can work with almost anything. I will be willing to take on salary as a rebuild also means just scrapping by the cap.

I like Berglund but that feels like a hefty cap hit. I guess my mind hasn't adjusted to the cap rise.

...and it will probably be more. Cap will go up and so will his expected salary.

Just so you guys know, I'll be out of town for about a week now so I'll be somewhat inactive. I might be able to check in on HF but I'm not sure.

Hello everyone I am Joider the GM for the Winnipeg Jets. I have posted in this thread before but it's been a while. I started to forget about checking HF but it was my home page so I started to notice I wasn't getting any trade offers and my friend (Deku Scrub) said that some of the GMs were asking if I was still active. I thought part of this is because most GMs deemed me inactive and others just didn't see me posting on the thread, but I will try to check the thread every day for trade offers and such.

Rick Nash and Brad Richards are available looking for a younger centre with similar potential and a younger winger with similar potential at least

Well my postseason is a success, eliminated the #1 team in the league as the 8 seed.

Eberle getting hurt, and even before getting hurt playing badly, was a big factor in that. Interesting how these leagues work out sometimes. I can only hope my team gets better next year.

He's the Washington GM, he beat Florida.

I guess the 8th seed in the West also knocked out the 1st seed team.

The playoffs are a complete crapshoot and make no sense. I have seriously only won playoff rounds as the eighth seed (I'm Dallas FYI). Although, the cup winner is almost always a top 4 seed.

I don't think so. Last season I lost in the 1st round to st. Louis I believe. Two seasons ago, we did face off in a 1 vs 8 match up and it went 7 games.
