Marlies kill off the penalty, still without a shot in the 3rd period though and the period is half over. Only 11 shots on the night while SA has close to 30. Somehow the Marlies are winning 3-1 though Marlies are really missing the abilities of Kadri and Gardiner.

Marlies go to the PP

Well that PP was atrocious. Absolute no offense on it. There was one long shot that snuck through and hit the post but that was it. The only good thing to come from it is that the Marlies are 2 minutes closer to winning.

Too many men on the ice against SA. Marlies back to the PP

SA went attacking on the PK resulting in the Marlies getting a 3 on 1 the other way. Aucoin fanned on the pass.

More offensive chances on this PP but still needs a lot of improvement with the movement of the puck.

PP over. Marlies another 2 minutes closer to victory.

SA takes another penalty with just over 2 minutes left in the game.

Marlies on the powerplay with a 2 goal lead and just over 2 minutes left in the game? May as well declare it another victory for the Toronto Marlies!!!!!!!

Ranger scores on the PP. 4-1 lead now. That PP was much much much better.

Kostka sets up Ranger for the 1 timer at the top of the circles. Aucoin the other assist.

Marlies win!!!!

4 goals on 15 shots Won't be able to keep that up all the time. We need Kadri and Gardiner back!!! (But make sure both are 100% before they come back)

1st star - Hamilton (got a goal that now lets him be the all time Marlies goal leader)
2nd star - Scrivens (30 saves)
3rd star - Abbott (2 assists)

Not a problem, would have done it all game but I decided to fill out my form to get 30% of tuition back. I figure getting the cheque for over $1000 is a little more important

Not too late. Deadline isn't yet if you are a fulltime student. Just google something like 'osap 30% off tuition' and it will probably come up.

Thanks for taking over the PBP duties Grant haha.

This was one of the more "complete" games I've seen them play this year. Just solid. Good thing too with all the injuries.

Abbott, Hamilton and Ashton were the standout forwards imo. D'amigo did his job well on the PK.

Lol
Ahl.com website lists Markstrom as second star... Lol
Clearly that has to be a mistake right?

Do you have to apply for the 30% tuition refund every term? I did it in October and got it back for fall term. (I'm aware this is not the right place to ask, but I'm too lazy to search it up lol)

Year, they were solid defensively. I want more offensive chances though haha. We won't be winning many games if we continue to get under 20 shots.

I'm just going buy what I saw on the stream, AHL may have different stars I guess? They probably just listed the wrong goalie because Markstrom let in 4 goals on only 15 shots, that's terrible

I have no idea. I just saw a commercial recently and got reminded by it which is why I did it tonight.

So a win on saturday puts the Marlies ahead of Abbotsford and first in the North Division.

Don't know if this has been mentioned or not, but it's "St. John's" as in the capital of Newfoundland, not "Saint John" the city in New Brunswick.

Today, it's actually on my Rogers TV, and I'm in Whitby. Yesterday it wasn't.

Anyone in the GTA should be able to catch it on their local Rogers.

1-0 Ice Caps just as the penalty was ending. Raymond Sawada on the deflection screening Scrivens.

Abbott with some nice patience on a great feed by Aucoin.

12 pts in 12 games for Spencer Abbott

Holzer with a nice rush, fires it on net, and Deschamps buries the rebound.

2-1 Marlies.

EDIT: No goal. Ross was in the net. Looks like it hit his leg passed the line, but the refs are saying it never crossed. Tough break.
