Really?

30 points in 65 games (38-point pace over a season) isn't too bad for a kid under 25 in his first batch of games. He had a lot of work to do defensviely, but offensively he was doing well for his age, especially considering his draft position.

His production rate was approximately 1 point per every 27 1/2 minutes of ice-time during his NHL stint. And to be fair, he wasn't exactly put into a position to excel.

For comparison sake, Tomas Plekanec's production rate this season alone was 1 point per approximately 27 1/2 minutes of ice-time (ES+PP TOI only).

I think, if put into a better position to excel, Omark could be a valuable NHL talent. But he has to be given the chance.

Another assist for Desharnais in a 5-2 win for Fribourg Gottéron against the last in the swiss-standing Langnau. Fribourg Gottéron are now the number 1 in the swiss-standing, and Desharnais played 9 games, scored 1 goal, has 6 assists for 7 points, had 10 minutes of penalty, a +- of + 3, and 10 shoots on goal.

Desharnais pointless in a 3-0 win for Fribourg Gottéron against Davos (Loui Eriksson, Joe Thornton). Desharnais played 10 games, scored 1 goal, has 6 assists for 7 points, had 10 minutes of penalty, a +- of + 3, and 12 shoots on goal.

1 goal and 7 assist = 8 points, but you said he has 11?

You welcome ! For streams, I can't help you much ! In Switzerland, the TV rights for hockey during the regular season (LNA) belong to a private TV company, Swisscom TV (through his branch Teleclub). A game cost on your TV 4$, and on your computer 6$. Without an Swisscom TV account, you can't watch a game. And, I'm not an expert, but I believe, even if you have an account ( for example, I give you mine), you would have to use a swiss proxy to watch the game. During the playoff, the public TV also have the rights to broadcast the game, so for the playoff, only a swiss proxy would be needed I believe to catch a game. I can post here some higlihts video, but not sure you can watch it in Canada without a swiss proxy.

My impression are pretty much the same as I posted more than a weeks ago. I was impressed by DD puck conservation, and, even if he is 5' 7", how he can stay on his feet, and outplay bigger opponent. His passing skill is just a beauty to see, and he found his rhythm, and some chemistry with his line mates, or on the power-play. He has to shoot more, he can score (the goal he scores for us : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBRmfeJphIk), but he nearly always trying to make the perfect pass. And as I said before, he was good his first game in the face-off department, but not that good the last few games.

For Fribourg Gottéron, he is a good fit since he is playing good and one our center (Jeanin, former capitain of our national team) is injured. Since Desharnais plays with the team (not only due to DD, but he surely helps) we won 9 of our last 11 games, and are the swiss leader

no no don't worry about the language. Just making sure if you made an error on the point total or one of the assist or goals. Sorry if it sounded like I was being a dick.

DD is catching up to Eller!

Great to see DD heating up. Anyone know who he plays on a line with?

Considering SM-liiga is on a break right now, I'd hope DD is outscoring Eller right now.

Glad to see Desharnais doing well though, he's playing comparable to the other NHLers in Switzerland right now. After Pacioretty's flop it's nice to see a North American Habs player represent himself and the team well abroad.

He plays with Michael Knoepfli and Greg Mauldin (Lake Erie Monster AHL before, 36 NHL games mostly played with Colorado).

Next step for Fribourg Gottéron and DD is the Spengler cup ! First game against UFA (KHL) the 26 December ! Fribourg will play with 5 NHL player there ( DD, Bruno Gervais, Max Talbot, Corey Schneider, Patrick Hörnqvist). The game will be broadcasted on TSN (http://www.tsn.ca/canadian_hockey/feature/?id=4385)

He got the puck in front of the slot, and he managed, on his knee because of the defensman, to move the puck right and with his backhand to put the puck in the top corner of the goal

The highlights video : http://tvonline.swisscom.ch/r/callba...&I=137995&L=fr

Not sure if you can watch it outside Switzerland, but I'll try

With this bum in our top 6 we're going nowhere fast. What a garbage goal.

I'm going to put it out there regardless of the consequences but I think he's a better player than Pacioretty.

Wow... a top corner backhand shot while falling... nice goal.

Can't wait to see Galchenyuk on Desharnais' left wing: they will create havoc!

PS thanks for the link

Was Desharnais available for the Spengler Cup?

If so, why he didnt make the team?

It would have been fun to see him there.

He's at least better than 8 forwards.
