Collberg has been disappointing. Not making the right choices and invisible at ES.

Maybe he had an erratic start, but he and Forsberg were the two most dangerous players in the last half. And for most of the 3rd, he was compensating for Forsberg's roaming and getting himself open most of the time, so he hasn't had much puck time, but the times he did, he had chances, plus he's battled hard against the top Canada forwards too. I think he's done well today.

Who's doing color? Mike Johnson? He's really bad. He pauses every two words.

Bah, Collberg didn't even get a chance. Did the coach forget last year's tourney?

Ray Ferraro.
Drouin's breakaway goal was sick, but he does that once a week in the Q so I wasn't surprised.

He made a nice play to give some pinching defender a chance in ot.
He had a few nice shots and rorechecked well. However, he seems to expunge all his energy in the first few seconds of his shift.
Very disappointing that he didn't partake in the shootout.

The highlights are up on TSN.ca.
Nice play by Lindholm in front on the play Collberg got an assist on.

Team USA cuts Matteau and Skjei.
Meanwhile Collberg is a key part of Team Sweden.

According to many of their analysts, this "jeune québécois de souche" is the second comming of Kevin Stevens...

Finland looks so good, they look like they've been playing together for a long while.

For a team Canada that should benefit like crazy from the lockout, I really don't like the lack of size on the forward group. Mcniel should help but for the 1st time in a lot of seasons, we don't have that classic grinder hitting everything that moves like Tootoo and Della Rovere.

To be honest, I haven't been that impressed by either Team Canada or Team America*. I guess TC had better synchronicity, but I haven't seen really spark up so far like Team America did in the last 10 minutes against Finland.
On the other hand, Team America's defensemen just looked plain bad and fumbling. But maybe I didn't saw right.
*except #15, off course

Yeah, I mean, that's totally going to keep Canada out of the penalty box.
I would be more concerned about the lack of cohesiveness of the team. They really look like individuals playing their own game mixed with dump-and-chase. From training camp to the SSS, the games have been eerily similar. Skating back and forth, back and forth, with very little time in the Ozone, always turning over the puck to the other team.
