The ''fix'' actually makes it so the PC version is THE definitive version of Dark Souls

There was a day when you didn't need a fix for the PC to be the definitive version.

its sad that the game needed a high resolution fix ...but even without that, it was still the best version.

the console versions are riddled with slow downs ...especially in 'Blighttown' which probably hit less that 10fps at times on there.

so even without the HD fix on pc, it at least maintains a consistent framerate.


still, its about as bare bones a port as you can get. From Software basically just copy/pasted the Xbox version over to pc.

hopefully Dark Souls 2 is done properly.

yeah its a bit of a chore the first time you enter there ...but i rarely do that anymore.

choosing the Master Key at the beginning of the game = short cut right to the end of Blighttown.

all you need to do is use a US billing address.

i believe BeBen used some steakhouse address in Beverly Hills a few times. a friend of mine up the road used an address from a used car lot in New Hampshire.

lots of people outside of the US on neogaf doing the same thing. seems to always work without any issues.

i used my cousin's address in Florida the time i bought something off there.

it sucks you have to do that, tho ...i mean, Amazon is big enough that you'd think they'd allow people outside the US to buy on there without any issues.
