most of the pretournament games don't get televised or talked about because nobody r=shows them on TV. TSN usually only shows Canada's games but this year Sweden/USA/Finland and Canada were all in the same place playing each other so TSN showed the other game along with Canada's game.

There were other pre tournament games. They're on the IIHF webpage

what's the point of a GDT when very few people actually watched the game? Even in the Russian thread there was only a few posts about the Swiss/Russia exhibition, all the other exhibitions had even less, seems kinda pointless if you aks me

Russia lost 2-4 to Dynamo Moscow (Dynamo was missing a few key players)

Lost 4-5 in a shoot out to the MHL Selects (Russian Junior League)

and won 7-5 against Switzerland (4-4 after the first period, Makarov was in net, Vasilevsky was in net for the final two periods).
