It's SUPER intense at times and does a really good job of investing the player into each character. Makes it much more emotional when characters die.
Yup.I played through it all a few weeks ago.
Very fun game, much deserving of GOTY.

ha ha?
Sure, season 2 was a borefest, but I feel like they more than made up for that in a great 3rd season (so far). It's been excellent.

Oh great...
Just 6 games in and Brodin is out for 2 months. (Broken leg)
Kinda pissed.

****ing awesome.
Now Granlund is out with a concussion. Not to mention, this happened in a game against OKC.

That's why I turn injuries off. It takes a little realism out of the game, but the sheer number of injuries you get is ridiculous if you leave it on, not to mention it's annoying as hell to have to edit your lines every time someone gets injured.

When you play your games, less injuries happen but it does happen sometimes. I guess I was really unlucky.
Simming on the other hand...

Also, playing with custom sliders totally change the game.
Too bad, we can't play with that online.

Yeah. I always put a couple of clicks on the aggression, one more in the playoffs and max it on important games. I also put the "stat effectiveness" or whatever it's called to maximum. I like to add one or two clicks to the exhaustion as well.

A friend of mine gave me Portal 2 over steam for xmas/gallbadder recovery.
Best friggin gift ever.
Portal 2 is fun as hell and utterly hilarious! Awesome voice acting in it, and the story is much longer and deeper than in the first game.

Can't wait to play Portal 2 one of these days.
Goozex got new ownership...finally. So if people get faith in it and it starts going again, will be great. Prices will drop.
For NHL games I always crank the game speed up to max. So slow otherwise. Normally crank up the shot speed, passing, and defense. Otherwise it's just so slow.

Journey and Papo y Yo both half off for PS+ subscribers, as well as Retro City Rampage for free.

spent $30 and got the Walking Dead, FTL, and Spec Ops: the Line off steam. feel good about it. Spec Ops is supposed to have an excellent storyline--it's in a lot of top 10 lists.

Been playing the Mass Effect series again.. This is what my girlfriend says when she comes downstairs as I'm going through the conversation wheel. "Ah, nerding out?"

I'm 14 games into the season on my Be A GM Mode. The Wild are in 6th place in the West with a 6-5-3 record.
The Aeros on the other hand... 14-0 at the top of the AHL. Carson McMillan leads the league with 20 points...

Been playing Megaman X lately. I've realized that...I suddenly suck at Megaman X lately. I used to own this thing. Hmm.
