where does he hit in the lineup? Their arms are fine and everyone knows it. But it isn't enough to have those arms and 2-3 hitters and 5-6 guys who can't hit. calm down

just pointing out that you can never discount pitching
Strong would be a fool to leave Louisville for anything other than a top tier job created by a coaching retirement. He's got it made in louisville at least for now. Of course, coaches have left solid jobs before, so I guess we will see.
and so Strong proves he is not stupid....
UT having the same problem UK had before Rich Brooks was hired... but that ended up really good for UK so maybe UT will end up with a steal....
They traded excess pitching and got an amazing return. Price/Hellickson/Moore/Archer/Cobb is still a good rotation and Myers is an elite hitting prospect and Odorizzi and Montgomery are really good pitching prospects.
I love that deal for the Rays. Cycle out older, expensive excess pitching for potentially elite young talent.
The question is whether they form a new conference or dissolve the Big East, keep the name, and start fresh? Either way, it puts the incoming Conference-USA schools in a real bind.
the titans suck every year. but whats worse is they always finish around .500 by beating a bunch of crap teams and screw themselves with draft position.
this was what i was talking about. titans are absolutely garbage.. and will beat horrible teams like the jets and move down 5 spots in the draft every year. too bad they finish with the jaguars.. thats another win against a sorry opponent. every year.

They lost to the Jaguars earlier this year. Anything is possible in Week 17.
Also, the Titans' .375 win percentage if they do beat Jacksonville is nowhere close to .500. The season would have to be extended by an extra month for them to even reach .500, and that's assuming they win those games.
Munchak's days are numbered. He might get a chance to shuffle his staff around, but I'm not convinced that he's an NFL head coach. Locker has another year, and then I'd draft another quarterback.
Ok doing the stats and asking myself 'What do the Yankees have after Nix for infield depth?'
Like to thank Rothlesberger for carping the bed to help me in fantasy.

Now, they are supposed to be trading for Hanharan from Pittsburgh, which I think would bump Breslow or Miller to AAA.
Thanks, so the info. The leaked infor is Melancon, Pemintel, Sands, + for Hanaran +
As a Pirates fan I have to ask, are any of those players even worth anything? Because every player we acquire in these kinds of trades either never amount to crap or get injured and need all kinds of surgery to repair something.

Melancon can be a very good reliever, Stomey is a prospect starter, currently reliever for Pawtucket, Sands is the prize, the best piece of the 'Trade the GDP of a small Pacific nation' the Red Sox got from the Dodgers.
