It COULD be that Djoos for example DOES have some foregin origin somewhere in the mist of time, like from the Netherlands or something like that. Djoos and his family is as far as I know, etnical swedes but so is De La Rose I assume.

Djuse looks very Swedish to me.

Dj... is pretty typical swedish "j"-sound. The "d" in dj is usually muted.

I believe that Sweden will lose the final against Canada. Nugent-Hopkins scores hattrick and Canada wins 5-3. Russia beats USA in the bronze medal game and William Karlsson scores most in the whole tournament.

Pretty sure that's correct. His ancestors probably emigrated to Sweden in the 1600's as alot of walloons did because the prospects for them were better in Sweden.

1600? Better send him back to Netherland before IIHF get into this. Damn Sweden for stealing other countries players!

Not that I'm aware of, but it seems it'll be Lassinantti since he's been pretty good. But hey, it might as well be Lundström!

Vikstrand, Rakell, Arvidsson, Forsberg, Karlsson.
Lindholm, Rask, Wennberg, Lindholm, Collberg.

When all forwards were in the game, I think. Bit unsure about Rask.

Bengtsson saw some time in Lindholm's spot. Molin on Rask's.

Hägg called up with Lindholm doubtful. Jesus.

Will Swedish television broadcast the games? If so, which channel?

EDIT: Found it, SVT2 and some at TV3.

Adam Larsson's father should share part of the blame for the weak defense. He could wait for a couple more month in 1992.

Very surprising, he has never played on the U20 team before. I'm guessing they want to keep some size in the back end. Hägg can also shoot like a horse on the PP, something this team seems to be missing. Could be a joker on this team.

Exactly what i'm thinking. Maybe if Lindholm is out Hägg would be the best option as 7th D and PP specialist over those other guys.

So it falls to Wikstrand to lead the Defense. Good luck kid.
