Kiper is predicting Mike Glennon to be the 1st QB off the board.

I'm sure a QB will impress in the Senior Bowl and then combine to re-boost them. I can see one of KC or Oakland trying to drop down to pick up an additional first round pick, and then taking one of the top QBs in the draft later in the 1st.

Though, currently, only St. Louis owns multiple 1st (from Skins). Cincy (from Oakland) and Miami (from Indy) each have multiple 2nds.

If I was an NFL GM picking in the teens, I think I'd rather gamble on Tyler Wilson than Matt Barkley tho.

I prefer Glennon to both. Hell, I prefer Zach Dysert to Barkley

i wouldnt draft another USC QB in round 1.
but It wouldnt shock me if some team was desperate enough to trade up to get Barkley.

problem with Barkley tho is no one knows where he'll go. I bet every team has him at a different spot. the question isn't so much "trade up to get him?", more "trade up to where?"

#1 KC (2-13) - .489 SOS
#2 JAC (2-13) - .551 SOS
#3 OAK (4-11) - .471 SOS
#4 PHI (4-11) - .507 SOS
#5 DET (4-11) - .569 SOS

Safe to say that if all these teams lose, that's the exact top 5 in order. The differences in SOS seem too big to change much.

Buffalo would have the 6th pick as of now.

Good, Philly still looks to be in a good spot if Joeckel comes out

My dream as a Jaguars fan:

1st round - DE/OLB, Jarvis Jones, Georgia
2nd round - QB, Tyler Wilson, Arkansas
3rd round - HB, Eddie Lacy, Alabama

I don't think Wilson will drop in the 2nd round. He was the best QB in the draft last year and I think some teams still think he is. You might be able to get Barkley in the 2nd round or Jones.

3rd rounder has to be CB or OL. Owens looks like a serviceable backup, even Jennings if MJD is healthy is a solid change of pace guy for him.

I like Tyler Wilson the best. He was in a terrible situation this year but the kid has talent is tough as hell. Im not big on Barkley or Bray and I have no clue about Geno Smith. I think Murray will have a long career as a backup unless he learns to make better decisions (which he could possibly do). Not sure what to make of Glennon, I havent watched him enough.

I love him, but at this point I think Jennings is a sunk cost. I'd love to be proven wrong, but I think I'm right.

Our O-Line is okay tbh. Monroe/Nwaneri/Meester/Rackley/Britton ain't great, but is solid and our LT and C are well above average. We still have Jason Spitz as well I believe. We need to draft a C I'll admit due to Brad's age, but Monroe is finally starting to show some of why we took him 8th OA. Corner is definetly a position of need too. Not a fan of Mathis and only so much Cox can do, I like our safeties and with Jarvis our LB will be very good, him and Poz will be great.

If we do take a CB in the 3rd, I hope it's Desmond Trufant.

USC has other positions in which great players come out of it...why do USC QB's struggle with the NFL?

As bad as they need to upgrade their offensive line they just as badly need to get more defensive play makers. I would rather them go best defensive player available.

DeMarcus Milliner? Rumor is Nnamdi and Rodgers-Cromartie might be on the outs.

There is alot of 2nd/3rd round ranked defensive players with talent that Philly could pick up. Offensive lines drops big time after the first few. The Eagles were at their best with a line of Runyan, Thomas, Andrews, and Fraley. We have Kelce, Mathis, Herremas, Peters with multiple hurt. Can't risk they don't come back to what they were. Get the tackle who can do what Runyan/Thomas did with Peters.

And what defensive player at 4? Star will be gone to Oakland. Milliner is not the best player left at 4. Teo shouldn't go top 5. Jones is a terrible pick at that spot for medical reasons

I do not trust Roseman in making those picks. look at these last few drafts. Im not big on Milliner too for where they are at right now with the 4th pick, but I would be fine with either Moore/Jones/Werner. plus they still could potentially draft 3rd or even be as low as 7th. So they could get Star or Joeckel might not even be there when they draft if they were to win this week.

The Eagles were also at their best when they had a defense that could make plays. Right now they really have no one that can on that side of the ball, and like I said I dont have any trust in Roseman's drafting ability. To me their defensive issues are much bigger and have been since Johnson passed away.

I have a hard time believing that Howie Roseman will be in control of football decisions when the draft rolls around. Being realistic with how teams around is will do, the Eagles should have 4th overall for the draft. And with a pick that high the Eagles have to go best player availible considering the needs they have. Luke Joeckel has all the makings of being a stud. The Eagles won't jump Oakland in my opinion and Oakland will take Star. Tied for the best player that is left at that spot and they take the DT.

I also see a couple of defensive ends you want to take. Why would the Eagles go defensive end so high? Vinny Curry and Brandon Graham are perfectly capable as starters, not to mention Cole should be able to rebound and play ahead of Curry. Curry has skill and Graham has been very good. Now if Philadelphia trades down(maybe taking St. Louis firsts) can get a Warmack and a DB. Eagles need to focus on OL at top 5 because OL is BPA there. And Elam at 2nd round is possible. Or move up.

You can never have enough good pass rushers. And while Graham does look much better, it's been only for 4 games. Im not ready to make any judgement about Vinny Curry. I just want someone on their defense that can change a game, because right now they dont have anyone that can.

I definitely agree with that belief. But Joeckel is better than Moore or Werner. I'd agree with picking Jarvis Jones but with spinal stenosis I stay far away from him in the top 5. But pass rushing isn't a bigger problem than the offensive line has been which to me makes Joeckel a slam dunk.

Graham has shown his skill but is finally healthy enough to consistently show it. Curry and Cole with him is solid enough if Cole returns to form. Now if the Eagles can sign an OT like Long in the offseason the Eagles could trade back and pick up an extra 2nd and take a Moore or Werner, Hunter(WR), and a defensive back with the picks.
