I have come to the conclusion that my facial hair experiment has failed. Tried to grow it like this fellow:
Turns out it looks stupid if you can't grow the beard all the way around. Inconsistent, poofy sideburns are a no go. There's also the fact that I don't have the body of a top athlete....

Three nights a week is nice, but those twelve hour shifts kill. I'm on orientation for a new job on days for now, but come the new year, I'll be cast back onto nights

same, im able to grow out the sideburns to an extent but not the rest, btw one of my favorite players, horrible team though

Seeing pictures of all of you was really... interesting.
I have this tendency to think 17/18 year olds are gonna make me look like I'm 5. Then it always turns out they look the same as most people in my class
Youngins around here. Chilling alone is great; you just have to choose to enjoy it. Instead of thinking "wow, I'm so bored. I have nothing to do and no one to do it with" think "I'm chilling alone right now, with myself". I'm one of my own favorite people to hang out with. On those nights when I end up having to entertain myself alone all night, I get to set the agenda and not have to cater to anyone else. It's a nice change of pace from always considering what your girlfriend, or friends want to do. I pick a movie or something that I deeply enjoy, stock pile some guilty snacks, grab some alcohol, etc. Or I pick up a game like an Assassin's Creed that has a really long story and I do the same, but immerse in the story for like 6 hours, no interruptions. Hanging out alone can be great; doesn't have to boring or mopey at all. Meanwhile, happy xmas.

I live alone, so I chill by myself a lot. In the last 14 months it's been the first time I've ever lived alone. Always had roommates, and now by myself, and with my dogs, cats, and birds. I do love hanging out with friends, but I don't get too bored sitting by myself.

Another new GF? Damn dude. You WNYers jump from significant other to significant other like it's nothing. I've seen that first-hand in a few situations now
Hope everyone's Christmas is going well, though judging by some posts in this thread it doesn't seem that way. I for one always look forward to today being Jewish. Nothing like NBA ball and Chinese food to kill a day! And I don't even have to feel guilty about not doing anything, well, because there's nothing to do!
