I think I'd take Drouin over any of the forwards in this draft.

Eh call it a difference of preference. I see a lot of Joe Thornton in him. Maybe even a little Malkin. Just a bit. Not saying he'll be that good, but their games are similar.
Still have yet to be truly impressed by Griffin Reinhart. I still don't see what the big deal is.
He's an incredibly smart and physically dominant defensive player. He was probably drafted slightly earlier than he should have been, but other than that he's an incredible prospect. He was untouchable in the SSS.

I guess it would've made more sense if I had said I still don't see what justified being picked so high. Lindholm, Rielly, Trouba, Dumba have all been more impressive this year. Yes I can see that he's a smart kid...physically dominant? Ehh. Still haven't seen it yet. Maybe I'm catching Oil King games on his off days or something, but he has a big body and what irks me about him is he doesn't use it for anything other than shielding the puck the way you expect a big board cycle forward to. That's not a bad thing, but I have yet to see him dominate in any way shape or form.
Morgan Rielly looks impressive. Good head on his shoulders.
In fairness I've only watched him play twice this year. Red Deer isn't exactly a must watch team for me.
They've played together a few times with the WHL team and Canada. There was really no contest. As bad as you think Ryan Murphy is, Dumba was much worse. While I agree that the other guys that you listed would have been better picks, that's one comparison that I think Griffin wins.
Huberdeau on the powerplay and RNH with another assist. It's just mind blowing watching him play. I don't want to like him. I really don't. Consecutive first overall picks has always irked me. Yakupov gets the benefit that I really like him. I want to dislike RNH, but I can't deny his talent. I really can't.

I didn't watch the Canada games but I did hear Dumba was awful.
