Still kinda expect more from Nuge. Half-kidding.

Am I the only one to impressed by scheifele? I mean he hasn't been bad but it seems like he is just along for the ride.

Generally a very poor effort from the defense.

EDIT: Boy is my stream late. I'm only now seeing the 7th goal.
It's a poor defense.

This x1000. This top line could do some serious damage in the NHL, but we better fix other areas for later in the tournament

Here's the thing. I get that Canada's been sloppy and yes, Germany has made some great shots, but at the same time sloppy play is going to happen. It's not an escise, but that's what a goalie is for. To sometimes bail you out. Subban needs to make some solid stops. The good chances Germany has had, they've scored. I still defend that Binnington is the unanimous choice in goal.

Maybe there wouldn't be 3 goals for Germany if our D (Harrington and Hamilton) were not dead tired from being out for 30 minutes and then giving the every 3rd shift to the next pairing who will be off their game.

I know we're a few posts short of 1K but might as well switch threads during the intermission. One moment please.
