Cortez Kennedy won defensive player of the year in 1992..and the Seahawks that year were 2-14.

First team all-pro to boot, even though your team is awful it shouldn't discredit a player's accomplishment that year.

Completely agree.

That said, the notion of 5/24 starters for the 2-13 Chiefs making the Pro-Bowl shows just how bad of a joke it has become. It was intended to show the best players in the league. Now it is a bad popularity contest.

Pats won't be there. They'll be playing a bigger game the week after

Didn't know this game could become even more of a joke but it looks like it can. I don't understand why anyone watches.

Alfred Morris and C.J Spiller getting snubbed is a joke.

Abolish this nonsense and do what the CFL does, just name all-stars.

I remember it was so bad the AFC QB contingent was made up by the combo of Matt Schaub, David Garrard and Vince Young :S

Nice to see Wake got nominated (Hopeful he gets an all-pro nod too)

Only player worth his weight on my Phins

Spiller can thank Gailey for neutering him this year but the real travesty for the Bills is Andy Levitre getting snubbed. But he's never going to get the recognition he deserves as long as the Bills don't make the playoffs...he should have been selected last year and he should have been selected this year too.

All the players most are complaining about getting snubbed will be there. There will be injuries, excuses and 2 teams in the superbowl. If that game happens to be SF/Hou, 17 players from the pro bowl will not play in that game, and Justin Smith has a torn triceps and won't play if his team doesn't make it.

Simple reality is many teams deserved to send 0 guys

From 1994-1998 the Bears had 0 guys selected for PB and they deserved to have no guys in game
The Rams are 7-7-1 and if win tomorrow finish seaon with a damn good record from where they were...If Janoris Jenkins were a top 5 draft pick this past year he would for sure be going to the pro bowl...James Laurinitis continues to be one of the best Middle LB in the NFL and gets snubbed yet again...Please explain how those 2 players should not have made the pro bow.

Matt Kalil added to the NFC team two days before the game because Trent Williams got into a fight and needed stitches.
