Two exciting players to watch playing MM for one of the top teams in Ontario Vladislav Sharipov and Nikita Korostelev, look to have very bright futures and should be chosen high in the OHL draft.

Vladislav Sharipov : http://r-hockey.ru/player.asp?TXT=28122&language=e

Oh well, will be different to watch their development as the adjustment to the OHL should come easier to them then other Russians coming later since they have been used to the style and culture from an early age. So, their adjustment next year shouldn't be too much different from other 16 year old rookies from NA.

true that, how much valuable Russian schooling have they lost, how much was their ceiling decreased, these are the questions that I ask myself.

Well I guess you can almost consider them NA schooled players since true development occurs around 12-14 years old.

lol, I already saw them with the AJHL. He is offensively gifted but as soon as he looses the puck he just stops skating.

98 Moscow Selects are doing quite well in a Toronto tournament called the International Holiday Classic Tournament featuring many strong Bantam teams from Canada and USA, they already beat what might be the top team in the province the Toronto Marlies 3-1 !

lol he's mad that his dad is coaching Latvia to failure basically at the WJC, from not selecting players like Klavins over some weaker Riga players and questionable coaching tactics.
